[Resolved] Tata Sky — set top box never gets signal | |||||
I'm living in an area where signaling should not be a problem. It's been 3 months since i have taken tata sky service and have faced technical issues 4 times. I keep getting error saying set top box not receiving signals because of bad weather situation even if the weather is good. While calling customer care support number, customer care representative keeps talking unnecessary nonsense saying recharge this and that package without giving any concerns about the actual issue. They keeps you on hold for 15-10 minutes if you make them listen your issue somehow and they listen and drop your call without giving any solution. When i got the tata sky connection before three months they said everything is in warranty including set top box, cables, dish etc. Now whenever they arrange any visit from their technician they charge extra saying technician visits are not in warranty which completely doesn't make any sense. A technician will only visit if there's any problem in set top box/cable/dish which all are in warranty then why the extra charges? To conclude all i can say is tata sky is worse service provider ever. Also it hires uneducated and abusive customer care representatives who treats customers as #.
