This is regarding the TATA BINGE+ box which I have been using for the last few months and approaching you as I am not getting any help from support teams and dealers. I even called on [protected] on 26th Sept 2023 and was trying to speak you directly but somehow again Nodal Support team had word with me and if I recall Shehnaz was the name, she spoke to me in a very rigid manner and was not even trying to provide a solution to my problem and later she disconnected the call abruptly, which is totally unacceptable.
Below are the problems which I am facing with this TATA BINGE+ box and these issues were not there in the old HD box.
The first issue which I highlighted just after taking this new box was - For the channels which are not in my subscription, there is a SUBSCRIBE NOW button available on screen and usually kids and senior citizens click that and again it becomes a pain for me to later unsubscribe and bear the cost. For this I understand there is no option to block subscriptions via Remote. I stopped chasing support teams on this.
But now the main issue is the remote for this BINGE box is not stable. Within a few months of opting this box, the remote stopped working properly, on 19th Sept it was replaced as it was under warranty and now within a month it again stopped so today i.e. 11th Oct, got a new remote. My worry is what will happen post warranty period, who will bear the cost of the remote as this product is not stable. Or if someone can guarantee that since the product is not stable remote will keep on replacing whenever issue happens even after warranty period.
I even had discussions with support executives on the field and they confirmed that on a daily basis some or other executive is replacing remotes, although I know the company will not agree on this. As per latest update from field executive, Anoop(ASI) had written an email highlighting the remote issues which customers are facing but I personally don't have any copy of that email communication.
Regarding the above issues, may I kindly request you to please allow me to switch back to the old HD box, as that was a very stable product and never faced any issue with remote in usage of 7 years and surrender this one as replacement.
Also I understand that customer experiences may vary but at least for one customer I think that is achievable. Appreciate your response on this please. Was this information helpful? |
