Tata Sky — tata sky charges for super lnb for tata sky hd+ dvr upgrade box | |||
I had tata sky SD recording box from last more than 10 years. On 8-Dec-2019 i have upgraded tata sky SD recording box with tata sky HD+ recording box. Customer care arranged technician and replaced my existing set top box with HD+ DVR box. Also customer care told me that upgrade charges is 7890 Rs. After installation, when i start set top box and TV, I found that most of the HD channels has distortion and no signal issue. I told technician about problem. After that technician has replaced existing LNB with super LNB also told me that Super LNB is free of cost as set top box is HD+ DVR, as HD+ DVR set top box required super lnb. After 2-3 days tata sky deducted 800Rs from existing balance. I called customer care regarding this issue. They said, 800 Rs charges are form Super LNB. I was shocked as technician told me super lnb is free of cost and also customer care haven't told me about this charges when I called for to upgrade set top box. I told them everything but customer care people was very rude and told me that they were not gonna refund my amount. My expectation here is that if HD+ DVR required super lnb why do i need to pay 800 RS for it. It should come with the same upgrade charges and for no extra charges. I checked https://www.consumercomplaints.in and found similar types of issues are faced by many people and tata sky has refund their money. My statement here is clear: why i need to pay 800rs even though after i paid for 7890Rs for the tata sky HD+ device. Are you cheating your valuable customers then? i need the things to be done at free of cost (To install the super lnb with my tata sky) Tata sky please take actions at the earliest and refund my 800 Rs balance amount.
