I am very dissatisified with the services of Tata Sky. I am from Hyderabad. First there was a issue in their promises Vs what I got - I fought for around 1.5 months and had no choice but to close my mouth shut. I have summarized the entire details below for quick reference.

Dropped the following note to Nodal Officer (tataSky) as an escalation email and got a very blunt email that - "In case you only have a purchase receipt form Bajaj Electronics you need to check with the respective store manager for any further assistance.

We believe that you are able to view our services now."

I would like to escalate this issue and need your intervention and suggestions to take it forward. I have tried to briefly summarizes the issue below:

- Purchased a new TV from Bajaj electronics (Kondapur) Hyderabad and Booked a Tata Sky connection from Dealer (as they were giving good deal) (End of July 2016)

- I wanted a dual connecting (Two TVs) and they promised me that I can go with DHAMAAL Mix pack for Annual subscription (with HD access) that would give me [ 1 Month of ALL Channels with HD + 12 months of Dhamaal Mix] = Total 13 months of subscription

- Tata Sky Contact Points @ Dealer:- Syed and Ishaaq.

- There was huge issues while doing the installation as the Tata Sky contact points @ Dealer had not communicated this plan / deal to Tata Sky service center / back end team - After 5 hours of heated conversation, I paid the amount that I was told initially and I was promised by installation guy that he would talk to back end team and get this sorted out (13 months as promised). The installation guy also mentioned that - please pay the money else they would deduct the money from his salary. During the installation time - the tata sky contact points @ Dealer were not available over the phone.

- Installation team from Tata Sky:- Chandu (came for installation) and Giri (who was at service center / back end)

- Got the "Subscriber ID: [protected]" - it was having only 12 months of Dhamaal Mix activated.

- Talked to Customer care multiple times and Escalated but this did not help - got a standard reply. there is no such plan exists. If someone has committed talk to them.

- Customer care tata Sky:- Rachna & Varun. One of the complaint number "QLFBF89 " - COMPLAINT NUMBER

- Talked to Bajaj Electronics Manager Mr Sunil and he said that if this was committed to you by Tata Sky Contact Points @ Dealer:- Syed - it should be given to you. He eventually confirmed with him and he mentioned over the speaker phone that it was committed to me. I chased with Tata Sky contact points but it did not go anywhere.

- Mr Sunil gave me the number of ASM Tata Sky - Madhu - I tried calling him multiple times but he never picked the mobile phone and never gave me call back.
- Mr Sunil had also mentioned that he would talk to Tata Sky contact points / ASM etc and get back to me.

It has been more than 1.5 months now and I have got what was promised to me. This makes a NEW CUSTOMER very unhappy (which your team has already DONE/ accomplished).

Can you look into this and let me know the next steps. My Subscription details are as mentioned below:

On 25th Sept, I tried speaking to Tata Sky customer care / executive for some other issues and changing my plan and what would be the additional charges. I tried speaking to the supervisor as the phone lines was getting disconnected after talking to the executives. Everytime, you call their would be a new executive and would like to understand the entire details before forwarding the call to Supervisor. As promised to me, NEVER GOT a call back and later the executives BLUNTLY DECLINED toforward the call to Sr Executive.

It is really pathetic as YOU HAVE to call them N number of times and wait in the queue and then explain same thing again and again and either line would get disconnected or they would disconnect the call and NEVER GIVE YOU A CALL.

I AM REALLY VERY DISSATISFIED WITH TATA SKY SERVICE. My biggest mistake was to purchase one year package - If there is any option to get my investment back - I would not think twice before shifting to other service provider.

I would like to know, if any help/ suggestion/ guidance to me to get this sorted out or I CAN BE OUT OF THIS TRAP.

I got multiple calls from Nodal officers and Sales managers (Parwez and Sheshadri) - They offered by Rs 270
to provide an extension on my Base pack for 1 month that I have bluntly refused as I can DEFINITELY PAY another 270 Rs in case needed. IT IS REALLY PATHETIC.

I am NOT SURE if they have read my concern EMAIL and tried to understand - I am talking about the CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE with TATA SKY. I am talking about BRAND IMAGE and how can they make Loyal customer and WHAT THEY CAN DO TO lose them i.e. PATHETIC Customer management & communication (as I HAVE DESCRIBED IN DETAIL In below email and talked to Tata Sky customer executives N number of times).

BELIEVE me - my mobile phone charges are beyond Rs 270 that called to Tata Sky executives and customer care. On TOP OF THAT I had WASTED my numerous HOURS with THEIR Executives/ Customer care.

They will arrange for a callback and assist you accordingly or you can contact Tata Sky customer service. They are quite prompt in their reply and will help you out. I am sure they will look into your matter and resolve your issue.
