[Resolved]  Tata Sky — unauthorised change of channel preference costing rs. 2580

We have been using tatasky dth services. We make monthly payments usually from tatasky app. We wanted to avail extra month bonus on subscription and payment of annual package charge. Personally i updated the channels for monthly subscription price of rs. 215 in tatasky app and made a payment of rs. 2580 to avail annual subscription bonus of 1 month. After 3 months i was asked to recharge as my account balance is nil. When i called the customer service, they told that the channel preference has been changed by some unknown dealer to a package charging rs. 782.75 per month. Thus my account balance has become nil in the 3 months. I am unaware of this dealer or the package change as we had been viewing only the channels which we initially subscribed. The tatasky customer service told that they do not know the dealer details. My query was how is some unknown dealer able to change my channel preference without my knowledge or authorisation.

The customer service will not utter anything other than "sorry for the inconvenience caused. But we cannot change company policy and change back to the original channels subscribed. You need to recharge your account to resume service"

So no security for money in tata sky account. Though i have used only rs. 645 from my tatasky balance, i have been charged rs. 2497 in these 3 months. The dth operator will neither give us the dealer details who changed our package or credit our tatasky balance with the amount

मैने 06 जून 2019 को tata sky का नया कनेक्शन खरीद लिया. इशमे मुझे 06 महिने का पॅकेज मिला था. और उसळी वैधता 06 डिसेंबर 2019 थी मगर उन्हाने मेरा कनेक्शन 22 ऑक्टोबर 2019 को हि बंद कर दिया. तो मुझे मदद चाहिये
