[Resolved]  Tata Sky — unauthorized payment deduction

I am a subscriber of tata sky direct to home tv. My id is [protected]. We have a common dish for 24 flats. There was some disturbance with the tata sky signal i called the tata sky customer care they asked me to switch on tv and gave some directions which did not start the tv. Then they said technician will visit. The technician visited and found problem with the common dish. He set it right and after some time inr 150 was deducted from my account. I think it is unethical on part of the tatasky. When there was fault with their system why amount was deducted from my account. After complaining tata sky said it is a rule that subscriber has to pay for the technician visit even if it is fault of the service provider. The technician report was not shared with me. Tata sky said they arranged technician on my request so i need to pay.
The fault in set top box or the common dish has to be set right by the service provider. My complaint no 1nh02b1z registered on 14th sep was also not replied till i again called tata sky on 25th.
I hope trai will look into the matter and see if the tata sky rule book is correct.

Hi, Thanks for resolving my concern, as per the call and SMS received from TATA SKY. This should have been resolved without my posting complaint on TRAI Portal.if your customer care personnel were honest enough to understand the problem.Anyways all is well that ends well.Thanks

Similar incident... im quitting from this Service Provider. Hope you realise their fraud and unethical response in the coming days. But good to hear your request got resolved at the earliest.
