Tata Sky — Unauthorized visit charges | |||
On 19th feb 2016 i got a hd box upgrade on my secondary connection and i told the technician to check the signal also so that i should not find any problem in viewing hd channels. He didn't do anything and just installed the hd box and went. On 7th march 2016 my tata sky was not receiving any signal, i rasie a complaint through chat (Chat history enclosed) and tata sky person assured me that there will be no visit charges but if any material is replaced then i have to pay charges. I agreed upon that that i am ready to pay the material charges. Now when their technician came next day he said that dish plate installed is very old and company has ordered us to replace all the old dishes with the new bigger dishes. I said then why this thing not done on the day new hd box was installed? Then they have no answer. They just replaced my dish and when i checked the company has debited the dish charge as well as visit charge and my tata sky account stopped working because the balance goes in debit. From that date i have raised so many complaints, received so many calls from tata sky but they say you have to pay those visit charges. They are just making fool of customer by increasing their visits and earning rs.170/- from each customer. Now this is my first step of fighting with them legally, if they want to fight legally for rs.170/- then i am also ready. I am their 7-8 years old customer and i always pay annual subscription, but i think they don't care about their long term relationships. Was this information helpful? | |||
