Tata Sky — Unethical behaviour from tata sky service team | |||
Hi I am subscribed for the TATA sky connection and paying the subscription charges regularly. Since last 15 days i am unable to view few channels. The screen appears blank. When i complain about this by logging a complaint(SR[protected], i got a call and the call centre guy was asking to pay Rs. 170 for the technician visit. (without knowing the exact issue). There is no confirm that the issue is due to any damage in the line or the set top box issue or any other. To understand the issues the technician has to check it. This checking should not be chargeable.At least they should first understand the exact issue and then come of payment terms. the guy was very adamant and was talking like "you want to get it resolved or not"... i am paying the charges for viewing the channel. if there is no service or interrupted service then the provide should at least check it before charging the customer. This service should be a part of after sale service. if there is any damage and if its out of warranty, then changing the customer is OK. but charging the customer for checking whether there is any issue or not is not fair.
