[Resolved]  Tata Sky — Unprofessional Customer Care executives does not listen to customer

Tata Sky Subscriber ID - [protected] This complaint is regarding unprofessional customer care of Tata Sky. I had raised an issue with tata sky website through mail. I had an issue of sudden disconnection of signal. On lodging the complaint, had received a call from Tata sky call centre, saying, since a common dish receiver is installed in our society, if any fault is related to common hardware, I wont be charged for that. Up to this everything was okay. Technician visited and he found that the cable was cut by rat in common passage. Surprisingly my got debited for a service charge of 170 INR. I immediately raised another complaint stating the entire thing and asked how I can be responsible if anything hapens to common area which is out side my flat. The customer care executive continued her repeated script stating that I am wrong and I am not using common connection. The fact is my own dish is lying packed in my room as this building had common dish already installed and the society does not allow to install individual dish. This was highly unfortunate the way customer care handles the issue without even knowing the fact. And I am also doubtful about their credibility in terms of basic understanding of simple english language. 170 ruppes is not a matter of concern, but the way the company claims the care for customer is very very annoying experience. Being a Tata group employee, its shameful for me to experience such a pathetic experience from one of our sister concern.
