Tata Sky — Wrong charges on the renewal package

I recharged my Semi Annual Package online well before the expiry for the required Rs.1420/-. To my surprise, Tata Sky started charging me on Monthly or daily Basis once my earlier paid semi annual package got expired even though I had renewed the same well before for the full amount. Now they are calling and asking to pay some amount again to renew and make semi annual package applicable in my account. They argument is that I should have called to say that I have renewed it for semiannual. Their argument is ridiculous. I renewed the semiannual package online. I clicked on renew Semiannual package, their system showed me to pay Rs.1420 and I paid. They are penalizing me for paying in Advance.
