Being one of the few and probably India's first overseas education consultants, the Chopras was really the first name suggested to me by friends and family. And today after my admission has been finalised, I can say that my decision has been a rewarding one indeed. With counsellors and well informed staff, a well stocked mini library and a healthy environment, preparing for a highly competitive exam like GRE can never be this gratifying. I just got to know that the Chopras have finally been caught and are blacklisted. I have been to their Ahmedabad and delhi office and they boasted of being the only corporate type company in India and so we got very impressed. i realised that they were not so professional when thye staretd dropping hints about preparing my financial docs for a fees. Luckily, i did not apply through them. But they managed to convince my friend who is now stuck in Cardiff with tons of Indian students in the classrooms doing mba and none of them are ven getting good full time jobs!! Consultants should not misguide students... we go to them with utmost faith and it is sad that they try to make money out o[censored]s.

Hi, I do not agree with your statement at all.I have visited The Chopras, Delhi for my son's admission.They were very helpful and supportive.I have personally interacted with Mr. Chopra and Mrs.Chopra.They have guided me in my son's admission from shortlisting universities to applications to getting his visa.My son is now happily studying at the Lancaster University.From my experience I feel that The Chopras are very authentic, ethical and professional organization.Before my son left for UK, they helped him interact and meet with other students at their pre-departure.The numbers that turned out at the pre-departure further strengthened my belief that they are truly good at what they do!

Hi, Akshita i am agree wtih you even i never had bad experience however you were lucky coz got chance to Meet Mr. Chopra but i never had.
as far as UK VISA FRAUD concern i dont think it will make any difference for them as they always do genuin job. it would have affacted few other consultants who give gauaranteed aboout admission and then they do whatever they can do either its legal or illegal.

Your accusations regarding preparing financial documents for the fee are so far off the mark that they are liable for action on the grounds of fraudulent and defamatory and malicious

THE CHOPRAS HAVE NEVER EVER “OFFERED ANY STUDENT OR PARENT TO PREPARE FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS FOR A FEE”. In fact they refuse to entertain students/parent who even hint at such a “practices”. These probably end up going to the “Agents” who seem to be behind this malicious message.
As for Cardiff, it is one of many Universities that The Chopras counsel for, in fact they counsel for all universities. Look up the RAE Rankings to see how high Cardiff score, Richie Rich or students partying are their business and not the concern of the The Chopras. For every 1 such students there are another 20 students in the library.

You have obviously had a bad experience; and are a vocal exception. The Company's motto is to treat people like you as a learning example and train or identify dis-functional staff, if people like you are vocal ;unless your an agent trying to de-frame or have vested interest.

the chopra are really creating fraud by giving false information. I had applied through the chopras AHMEDABAD, GUIDED FRAUDLY BY KOMAL ONE OF THEIR money eating AGENT. I HAD ASKED HER AROUND 5 times whether university of wales have banking specialisation AND she said yes and she even made fill a form which said banking ( this note is spcially for MR.CHOPRA I AM NOT AN AGENT BUT A STUDENT ) BUT when i went to university to enroll i just discovered that there is no banking course, right now i am in uk and i challenge chopra i am not hiding and making comments but i will come directly sue them for their wrong information. i would warn chopra the reason being what i am writing hear has all the documents to support my statement. for some people it might seem just a specialisation issue but we bloody spend so much money more importantly our career depends on it.

I disagree i went to chopras bangalore and the staff has always been happy to help i got valuable advice from them which helped me confirm a university... i dont think they process false documents for a fee infact they dont even charge a fee for students applying to the uk. i think this complaint was made by someone who wants to defame the chopras

i went to the chopras with my friends and they were great. They were very helpful and courteous. I am now studying at university along with my friend and have infact got myself and internship as well. I disagree with the views stated. It looks to me like tis is a case of personal grudge.

I have an experience with TheChopras. Initially while we were planning for studies have asked them for there services. As per there consultant we need to write a research proposal and get approval from supervisor for Phd program. Once we have done that they told us to apply and get offer letter from university. As per them they will be assisting us after that to get visa and they promised no fee for visa process too.

While we got everything done they asked us Rs. 20, 000 for visa processing. unfortunately our representative who visited there office given token amount of Rs 2000. Later on due to there poor response on our queries we stopped communicated to them and gone to another consultant. Now we asked them to refund our Rs 2000 which they charged wrongly. They told us Rs 2000 cannot be refunded as we have taken visa consultancy and document which they had notarized for us were also not returned to us.

They have very poor attitude and unprofessional approach.

The chopras have always been the best i have been to every damn consultant in delhi to crosscheck about their university...they have the best counselors . All those people writing against them are either fools or they are lying.

I completelty and utterly disagree with the above false accusations about chopras. To be quite frank i am disgusted with the false accusations. I personally think it is some wannabe competitor spreading false accusations.

I am british born indian and a company director. 1 of my businesses is based in Leeds and next to the university and in the last 6 years we have served hundreds of chopra clients (students) who have come to Leeds city. From my interaction with the indian society in Leeds and other universities and with the students in particular i can honestly say that no one has ever had anything bad to say about chopras.

Yeah guys I have visited with my friend at chopras and their high profile agent has scolded us in a very rude manner and said that there is no chance for you in MS in US and a very minute chance in Canada even without asking my GRE score and after that when I had given my feedback to them their team started convincing and promising me that we will provide you even scholarship in gud US universities.How they have changed with just little feedback, guys trust mee they will only provide you admission in those colleges from where admission can be easily secured because they got commissions from such universities.Well friends I have applied at my own without taking any consultancy from someone and got acceptance from California State University with scholarship, believe me friends no one can do anything for you it is you who can do best for yourself.See the so called brand name chopras were saying that dere is no chance for me in US and little chance in Canada and I have got admission in US itself that too with 100% scholarship so you can see how genuine the chopras are

they are fraud jassman do not go them. they take a hefty commission from the university around 20% or more of your fees if you directly you can gain a lot. everything is online go the university website and apply yourself . do not go to such fraud agents

Chopras are not frauds but they are highly unprofessional. They just care about the fees and thats it. they maintain 100% record but it is about how they achieve it. By harassing students, not giving proper information, by delaying application..you keep on visiting their office after submitting money. They will ask for one-one document. they would say we have submitted application but they will not and will tell you a story later.

Entire experience we had was highly unprofessional. Its worst service experience ever.

Im planning to do M.sc in Logistics and supply chain in singapore . i visited chopras and they told SIM (singapore institute of management) and curtin university. They told a sum of 12 lacks (including the accomodation)

Go the college website online and apply yourself. No need of going anywhere you can help yourself on your own. Everything is given online starting from the application form, visa and till the end of your accommodation. There is no need for any such agents. even better ask the college for discount when you are applying direct.

do not believe in this thugs at all at any time. they are there for disloyal acts. they get good percentage of more than ten % of the charges a student will pay something like one minimal one lakh per student per institution. preserve all this cash by implementing yourself rather than proceeding to them

My Experience- The Chopras are NOT frauds! Especially not the Bangalore ones. They helped me get into a really good university for my program, even though I was barely eligible for it. They helped me get a visa in a week. The pre-departure they organized was extremely useful. From admission to getting my visa, they helped with dedication, transparency and efficiency. I am extremely grateful for their help. If I had tried to do all this by myself, I am doubtful I would have gone so far.
However, they might promote some colleges more than others and they may not be very informative about rare cases. Like all agents, they want what's best for their clients but they also have a business to run. So, do your own research too, especially regarding the ranking of your university, visa documents, etc.

To people who accuse The Chopras-
The Chopras in Bangalore have a board in their lobby clearly stating that they DO NOT deal with people who use fake documents, forget about helping people make fake documents.
If you didn't get into a great university or you didn't get a visa, it's probably not The Chopras at fault. The Chopras can only guide you but ultimately it's all up to you.

If you value your money then don't go to them!! At the time of registration they do so many promises but they don't provide the minimus assistance!

My friend suggested me to join The Chopras for proper guidance on the career opportunities available for me. Without wasting anytime, I got enrolled with them and I am really glad that I did. The Chopras are the best when it comes to overseas education consultancy. Their staff is very polite and friendly. Hey anyone please tell me the chopras is my right way to visa process and all..I am confused because of I seen 50%-50% negative and positive review. So please suggest me whats the wrong with chopras exactly. :(

I have taken help from the chopras (Bangalore) for my visa processing. Starting from first, I didnt get proper response from my counsellor (Amita Singh). They made me to wait for long time for counselling with no reason as the staff herself was chatting with her colleagues. Though I have applied and got offer for my program by myself, they asked me to sign an agreement as if they did all work. I used to get mail from them asking whether I paid the fees. After I paid the tuition fees, they stopped mailing me. My counsellor did not share her number with me regardless of my requisition. I have to call the office number which sometimes may not be connected with my counsellor.

I have registerd with chopras .I applied to universities in germany through them and I got rejection from all universities.I want to get back my refund money of 34000.

I work at a UK University and have met Mr and Mrs Chopra on many occasions. They have a genuine concern for the futures of the students looking for overseas study and their motto is sincerely held and communicated through the branch managers of their various very professional offices to every member of the counselling teams. As a University representative, I can honestly report that I trust them fully to accurately represent our courses and to guide students to the course that is best for them, which ever university or country this may be. They are definitely not interested in profits - they believe that their reputation is much more important and if they do a good job for their clients then success will come for all, and many of the students who have joined my university joined The Chopras after personal recommendations from others who had already enjoyed their services.

Having worked for different reputable British universities for more than a decade my advice would be to ignore the web forums as there are a large number o[censored]nscrupulous "agents" who only care about taking your money and will do anything to plant doubt in your mind. If you look at the websites of leading UK universities they will list their education advisers and you will see The Chopras name come up again and again, even with the very leading universities who will not work with anyone else. Why do we all trust The Chopras. It is because they have worked tirelessly to develop a reputation for quality and professionalism and can provide exactly the kind of student-centred guidance that we require so that students join the course that is most suitable for their individual situation - which is what everyone I assume wants.

The Most pathetic place that a person can go for exploring Overseas education is the Chopras. Totally unprofessional with Terrible attitute. There is a female Kalpana working in the Delhi office who believes she is the Dean of Harvard or achieved something similar in her life. Bad case of Superiority Complex & must be having serious personal issues in her life. They do not have a good aproach towards people, cook up requirements to scare students, will ask weird totally unrelated questions to demean humiliate & petrify the Student.

No Student should go to this place. This is more like a very Unprofessional LaLa mentality shop out to make a fast buck & enjoy giving garbage treatment to students.

I was a client in "The Chopras", I approach because I thought they are affordable. The moment they find out that I am here for the Visa assistance they don't show the keen interest to help however I was in dire need of assistance so I paid the assistance fee. Once the fee is paid they ask me to collect few documents which I did. Due to negligence or imporper counselling, I was not given the proper assistance needed. The Visa counsellor wasn't very encouraging but rather showed disinterest and and told me that my application will be rejected for all the reasons she can come up with. Yes, I do not fulfil some of the creteria which could have been mended if inform in time. They just needed to get the money out of their clients without even getting a proper counselling out of them. The Chopras is a money minded business firm will I will never recommend to anyone. Due to discouraging words, I have to withdraw my application even before getting any assistance expect for the those list of documents I was asked to collect. Now that I have withdrawn the application, they inform me that a parcel amount of money will be refunded but there is no response from them. Its okay they can happily keep the money but I truly feel they shouldn't have mention about the refund, if they weren't willing to refund at the first place. The Chopras lack professionalism! If someone is truly looking for immigration abroad, I suggest look for other less money minded consultancy then this!

The Copras are biggest fraud In Delhi, when you want to register with for first time. They will easily convince with fake and lie. After that they simply focus on other candidate and ignore you. Without giving any concrete information.
