Teleperformance — Resignation Acceptance

Hi Sir,
My name is Koustav Sinha, my employee ID was AA/0141/A/33631. I had been working for Teleperformance at Jaipur location since last three & half years. I joined as a technical support executive then I got promoted as Subject matter expert.

I was on wedding leave from 31st July to 24th August, 2021. But during my leave things had been changed. My mother was affected by Covid in the month of March, 2021. After my wedding we found few critical medical problems came & her current health condition is very pathetic. We consulted with doctor but as per their verbatim we must need to take care of her & we might have to attempt few surgeries in upcoming days. I lost my father earlier so except me there is no one who can handle this situation. So I sent my resignation email to Teleperformance.

But the management & employee care team informed me that my case will be considered as job abandonment whereas I mentioned that I will not be able to server the notice period as I will not be able to leave my hometown (Kolkata, West Bengal) so I am ready to pay the entire lieu amount for one month notice which is legal.
This is what which I never expected from my employer in my critical situation.
I am writing here to get a help on this. Please help me to get the resignation acceptance letter.
