Dear Sir,
My brother was driving the car near Raipur gate, he took a u-turn when lower panel of rear door on right side dashed with the divider and scratches appeared on the car.
Then my brother sent the car in Honda landmark workshop, asked the agent to submit the claim form to the insurance company.
The car was in my name so I gave my driving license no., I didn't know the one who was driving the car has to give his license and unfortunately I myself didn't know that my license got expired few months ago . I did not know how my driving license was given because the intimation letter and the claim form was not duly signed by me. I had written a letter to the insurance company with full details but they are not ready to listen .
They are stucked on one point, DRIVING LICENSE OF MUKESH R GUPTA WAS EXPIRED AT THE TIME OF ACCIDENT.
When I submitted the claim form, the insurance company appointed the surveyor, he surveyed the car and asked them to get it repaired . If they knew that the driving license had got expired they shouldn't pass the order and we shouldn't had to pay the said huge amount . I would have not given my car for repairing to the company. At the time of payment and the final survey, the surveyor told me the license has been expired and can't be passed, that means he knew it from the beginning and was he playing with us.
If it was cashless policy we would have not got into such trouble and face so many problems.
I know that the claim can be passed though the license gets expired . The insurance company is unnecessarily harassing us.
All the correspondence with workshop, surveyor was done by my brother ( Manoj Kumar Gupta) and i have already submitted his license to the company .
At the time of insurance they promise us to give claim at times but when the claim time comes they show their colours. That is why I prefer cashless policy . This is the first time that I haven't taken cashless policy.
Please help me to get back the amount .
