Very worst service - this is my second card i have with thomas cook and i dunno why my company still promoting this. It’s been very bad experience for all o[censored]s with this thomas cook card.
Have a travel card and i have done a transaction of 1489$ on dec8th and returned the product on dec9th and just imagine this is like almost 60 days and still i haven’t got the refund.
I’m in us and i call them every day almost from last 30 days i don’t get any response - they don’t have customer care number in us which customers can contact. And they don’t pick calls and doesn’t respond properly even if they pick - i dunno how irregular they can be. I asked their supervisors many times about what’s happening with my refund and still i don’t see a proper response from them. I don’t know how thomas cook doesn’t want their customers to be happy.
They never responded properly and every time i have to call thomas cook india customer care and still they say we support only 24/5 from 10 to 7. We just want some guys to work on this. I hope this makes some sense to the guys whoever if they read or monitor this page and a warning note for the customers.
Adding important thing that is promised by thomascook :
You get a refund after 60 days irrespective of the issue.
Today is 61st day and i haven’t got my money yet. 1500$ is nothing to thomas cook.
Thomas cook doesn’t bother abt what happened to the customer raised dispute with them for 60 days irrespective of issue - this one being at thomas cook end.
I seriously need a reply from you guys.

    When i was in search to book the package there was an offer book now and get a free holyday for 3 days and 2 nights and same has been confirmed by the thomas cook person before booking. He cleared me that after your vocations the package will be delivered to your email, but today 3rd month is on but there is no such mail, i tried to contact back but no body attends the call.

    And i booked in sept'2017

    It was also mentioned on the site cover page, book now and avail the offer of two nights and 3 days
    Hi Gaurav, try writing back with the G file number alphabetically as it is not visible (protected) . May be then the team would respond on getting the same.

      I & my wife went on asian extravaganza holiday tour from may 25 to june 4, 2017. Payments were made in full well before travel date. While thomas cook arranged visas for malaysia and singapore, thailand visa could not be obtained. We were advised to get the visa on arrival in bangkok and were told visa charges collected shall be refunded. Accordingly, on landing in bangkok, we paid and got the visa for the tour to thailand. On our return, we have requested thomas cook for refund to no avail. Letter to the ceo in the matter has yielded no result. Hope and request thomas cook for refund.

        I made the payment on 27-dec-2018 and till date (15-jan-2018) form ds160 is not filled and submitted. My father went to gurgaon office to get some infomation on form filling, but the representative (Mr. Anil) itting there had no idea. Till date he has not replied back to my father. And the form is still pending. I want my money back as thomascook has given has zero assistance. They sent a dummy form 160 which does not even apply to my father queries. Highly disappointed. Emailed the following who were involved in mail during booking (To: shubham. [protected]@thomascook.in

          Thomas cook is a cheat company, i had applied for a visa from my mother and father's side as they were going to visit my sister in singapore, i did the online payment on 3 december 2017, and travel date was 9 january 2018, so i submitted documents to the cp, delhi branch on 14 december, the attitude of the whole branch was just weird. Anyways i was assured that till 28 december 2017, i will get the visa and passport, i said okay, but to my surprise when i called them on 28 december, they said 2-3 days more, i was angry, that date is reaching for departure, but i had to wait, then on 2 nd january 2018, i again called mr rajan, who handles visa thing in cp branch, he said will take another 2-3 days. I then complained to thomas cook, but they were not even worried and they didn't took my complaint, i talked to some mr shubham in mumbai, but he said you have to wait. Then on 3 rd january i had a talk with delhi cp branch manager, who said he will look into it, but till now there is no reaponse. I will definitely file a consumer court case on them, if they not get my visa done, i have already bought the medical insurance and return flight tickets for my mother and father. Thomas cook as a company are cheats, they don't work, they leave you hanging till last moment, i will never recommend them to anyone, their licensed must be cancelled.
          Looks like a 100 percent cheat company. I applied for singapore visa on 5th jan and submitted the documents in bangalore office. They said will respond in 1 week. Now its more than 2 weeks. My travel dates at feb 14th and they dont respond in any of the phone numbers provided. They should revoke license of such bogus companies who respond only till taking money and documents...

              We booked dubai trip through thomas cook. Inspite of frequent follow ups no information related to airline and flight time was given in advance. Just 2 days before departure we came to know that filght is air arabia and it will land to sharjah. This is low cost flight and do not give meal or even a glass of water.
              Thomas cook single point of contact hidden the fact that meal is not included but assured us that meal is inclusive in ticket.
              Overall flight experience was bad. It was not at all international flight experience. Plane was too small without any entertainment. We had to buy a small bottle of water for rs 80/-. Thomas cook is not having any transparency in the dealing. They did not gave any idea about the airline and also the flight timing chosen was very odd to get cheap tickets.
              Pl do not go with thomas cook as all of group got the same experince.

                I have applied for a singapore visa through your cp office on 6th december. Highly unprofessional of you to not give an update. I am to fly this week and all you tell me is you have to check the application status. All your executives are either on leave or unavailable on phone. No one is ever available on your customer care to pick up the phone. Lame excuses on calling. I was told that my visa will arrive max by 15 december. Do you have any value for customer service? I am high and dry calling persistently. Either the call is not picked up neither do you call back. Please provide a resolution at the earliest.

                  I booked a hotel for one day in bangkok (16.12.2017), thailand through thomascook india vide booking ref. H1628941. I paid rs 1606/- through sbi online netbanking. The hotel denied receiving any money from thomascook vide ref. H1628941. Therefore, i could not stay in the hotel. This is absolute fraud/negligence. Please return my money with immediate effect.

                    I called customer service center regarding flight booking there is no proper response and they did not cal back to me i tried mrng 10 to 3 o clock till i did not booked my flight worst service response and i had a travel voucher also i try to cal bangalore 4th block ur department they told they are not accept the voucher they accept only cash then what was the use of thiz voucher

                      Worst experience for andaman tour with thomascook

                      I am sachin kapoor and had booked a tour with thomascook for experience andaman from 5 the december to 10 december 2017. Just to share my experience with you is that i am highly disappointed with your service and your tour manager mr. Pravesh joshi and bhavesh who had given the real experience of prisoners were treated in andoman years ago

                      As soon as we had landed port blair, we were informed that all the water sports activities were not happening due to bad weather conditions which had happened and were told that these events will be starting from tomorrow. Mr. Bhavesh, prateek, keval (Thomascook tour managers) kept lying and misguided us regarding the water activities that they will happen next day but never happened.

                      As per my itenary places like ross island, under sea walk, viper island by harbour cruise, snorkelling trip, elephant beach trip and boat ride were not covered at all.

                      When asked why these places were not covered from your tour managers, they said it was due to government policies. When talked to mr joshi and bhavesh they have no words to say except sorry and we apologise for the same
                      When i asked them when they send the itinerary can’t inform the guest to carry the bsnl sim card as no other network is working in port blair, havelock etc

                      Every time they are changing the schedule, we were running after them but they are least bothered about the convenience of the guests
                      Poor quality of food is being served at the resort and there was no one to look after our belongings
                      When at neil island we handed over our baggage to mr kewal to board the cruise they were asking where is your luggage, i was so disappointed that our we the tour arrangers or what we have already handed over the luggage to you people and it is your prime responsibility to take care of it

                      Really guys trust me thomascook agents are cheating with customers.

                        I want to get my visa for singapore. I have a time frame of 16days with me. I am travelling in january. But they said no. We cannot process it for you.

                          Thomas cook hounded me for days to pay the visa application fees and made several promises about the smooth process. However, the moment the money was paid, none of the promises have been kept. I have been emailing them incessantly since none of their numbers work and all they keep replying is go to the branch. I clarified several times before spending the money on their services that i needed home pick up service, but all they keep coming back with is 'go to the branch'.

                          This has been going on since nov 2017 and my visa needed to be sorted by mid dec for january travel.

                            This is in regards to the honeymoon package booked through thomas cook india ltd, noida sector 18 office. The below are the dates as pef the schedule mentioned below:
                            Checkin bali:26th nov 2017
                            Checkout bai:29th nov 2017
                            Checkin singapore:29th nov 2017
                            Checkout singapore:02nd dec 2017
                            It was for 6 nights and seven days.
                            We reached bali on 26th nov and checked in the hotel. Next day i. E. On 27th nov 2017, we got the
                            News about the volcanic eruption activity near bali as a result of which
                            The airport was shutdown for 24 hours. We got the same news from thomas cook agent to which we requested him to look into our flights if the airport remains shut on our checkout day i. E 29th nov. We kept on following up with him, but till the end of day his reponse to us remained the same "sir.. We are trying". As we were not sure when the airport will reopen, so we kept on requesting our agent (Anirudha sisodia, thomas cook) to get our tickets modified to another closest airport, but no actions from thomas cook's side.

                            On 29th nov also, airport was closed and the airport check in department informed that the next flight to singapore is on 3rd dec and prior to that, all the flights are running full. Informing this to thomas cook, they told us to manage the things on our own and they can not do anything to this. After putting in a lot of efforts we finally got our ticket from jakarta to singapore for 1st dec at 8:30 pm. Now our luxurious honeymoon became the real pathetic one. We were asked to go to surbaya first, which is a journey of 15hrs by bus and then take a flight from surbaya to jakarta. We bought tickets to surbaya of 300000 rupiah each and started our journey by bus at 3:30 pm and reached surbaya next day i. E. On 30th nov at 9:00 am. We stayed over at the airport and waited for the flight.

                            We got our flight at around 04:30 pm to jakarta. Reaching jakarta we faced a lot of language issues as rarely people know english over there. Somehow, we booked 1 hotel and got 1 uber to hotel. The uber driver too didnt knew english, so it was a very big challenge to manage. Finally we reached the hotel and the very next morning we checked out and reached the airport where our flight was in late evening at approx 08:30 pm. Meanwhile, we again tried to connect with thomas cook and requested the following:
                            1. As our booking was till 2nd dec 12:00 noon, we requested a cab from airport to our hotel.
                            2. As the whole trip was spoiled, we were wishing if we could make out something.. So we requested thomas cook for a plan on 2nd itself to universal studios and/or sentosa etc.
                            But none of our points were fulfilled and we were asked to book cab on our own and reach the hotel. To our 2nd point also, he denied, giving some or the other fake reasons.
                            As soon as we reached singapore, we called the hotline number provided to us by thomas cook and enquired about the hotel. To which, they provided us the contact number of the hotel itself and asked to enquire on our own. We called the hotel and had a word on our bookings, they informed us that the booking was already cancelled on 30th nov as we didnt checked in on 29th nov and this was already conveyed to our agent. Now, it was 12:00 in midnight and my wife and i had no shelter in an unknown country. Inspite of getting the trip organised by thomas cook, i was feeling so helpless and hopeless and i can't even explain here. We tried but could not find any other option than to stay at the airport. We spent the whole night sitting outside the airport and then the next day too.

                            That was worst experience anyone can have. Initially they promised us everything, but later, at the time of action, they pulled back everything. They didnt gave us even for what we paid.

                            Total amount paid to thomas cook: 1.65 lacs
                            And now we are looking for refund of our singapore trip.

                            Please find the attached itenary and tickets for the expenses we have spent.

                              I had booked a europe trip with thomas cook koramangala, bangalore. Overall the experience was good. However, i faced some challenges and escalated the issue to the customer service team.

                              The issue was that i was clearly instructed by thomas cook representative not to pay the city tax in switzerland and that i need to pay only in paris. However, the swiss hotel (Drei konige) insisted that i pay the tax to them. I escalated to thomas cook team and they manipulated the entire scenario saying it is a new rule. If this is a new rule, then it must have been communicated to me well in advance by thomas cook.

                              I contacted the switzerland hotel directly and got the following confirmation directly from the hotel that the reservation was booked over travco and thomas cook should have the information about all new government rules. It's not a good thing for a branded company like thomas cook to treat the customer in this manner. The representative was very careless and forgot to update me on the rules.

                              Based on this grounds, i am trying to file a consumer court complaint on this issue. I am also going to publish this issue on all sites and bring it to the notice of media to get justice. At least i do not want other customers to suffer the way i am suffering.

                                Thailand tour from bangalore 23.10.17 to 27.10.17.

                                The thailand tour was organised during above period to pattaya and bangkok.
                                Last year the king of thailand expired and his cremation took place on 26.10.2017. The entire bangkok was closed on 26.10.17. I could not visit the royal palace because of cremation of expired king. Thomas cook was not aware of such things and organised tour programme during the period of kings cremation. I could not visit the royal palace.in case, i was aware of it, i would have cancelled the tour programme. The very purpose of visiting thailand is to see royal palace and temples in thailand. I requested for extension of tour programme but local tour manager refused to do so. I sent a mail to thomas cook, mumbai to extent the tour programme. Thomas cook also refused to extent the tour programme by couple of days. The very purpose of visiting the thailand has been defeated. I must be compensated for the loss. I spent a sum of rs. 60, 000 (Self and wife). Either refund the amount or organise a fresh tour and entire cost to be borne by thomas cook.

                                2. Ms asawari, sales executive promised me that travel insurance for my case (Over 60 years) will be borne by thomas cook as a special concession to me. She took approval from her seniors as told by her over phone. Two days before travel, she told me that i need to top up part amount of policy, which is rs 5000. I need to pay part amount of rs. 760. When the actual insurance policy came to me i was shocked to know that the entire travel insurance is for rs. 760. That means, entire cost has been borne by me. Thomas cook has taken money from me fraudulently.

                                3. Thomas cook advertised in newspaper about thailand tour. They also mentioned that 2n/3d sterling holiday voucher will be given free of cost. Till date i have not received the sterling holiday tour voucher from thomas cook.

                                  Myself shibsankar chakraborty open a holiday saver recurring deposit account in indusind bank (Ac no[protected] year earlier for thailand package 4, 800 for 2 per month. At the time of opening this rd i was assured from thomas cook representative and bank representative that after maturing the rd, bank will ask my present situation whether i am willing to go or not and decide where to transfer the money, to thomas cook account or my savings account. This rd was matured on 20th september 2017 and without asking me a single word bank transfers this to thomas cook account and more shamefully not a single thomas cook representative call me to ask when i wish to travel. Its nothing but money theft which i can not imagine even in my bad dreams from a reputed company like thomas cook. Now for few unavoidable circumstances i cant think of any tour or travel for a long time and i need my money badly in my present situation so requesting you to please help me to get my money back as soon as possible.

                                    I booked my switzerland tour with thomas cook in the month of june for travel dates in july. I made my initial payment of 50% amount on 13th june then when they were making my hotel bookings after 15days they are asking me to pay remaining amount for which the total had changed because the euro rate had changed that day. I have no idea what was the whole meaning of finalising the package and paying the initial confirmation amount. So when i made a lot of phone calls and refused to pay any extra amount they gave up and did what they had to but then just 2 days before my trip they are asking me to pay rs.10118/- only then they will release my hotel vouchers and my swiss rail pass without which i wont be able to travel.
                                    And on asking for an explanation for that amount they gave me stupid illogical reasons like taxes/difference in rate of exchange also gst while i had already paid my entire tour amount in june itself (For which i have all the reciepts and mails) and gst was applicable only from july.
                                    I was supposed to leave monday night and they are telling me this on saturday when their offices are closed on sunday they even sent me mails saying they will only release my documents on monday if i make the payment before 12.
                                    So finally on monday i had to get in touch with all possible people right from nasik office to their manager somewhere in mumbai and the ones who were inititally involved stopped recieving calls or replying to mails but somehow we tried to get hold of the things and finally i got the vouchers on mail just before i left for the airport and the rail pass i got only when i reached the airport.
                                    And now when i have been asking them for my invoice since august they still havent got time to send me one invoice because somehow they have taken extra amount from us and they have no explanation or rather they have stupid illogical excuses to give for that.

                                      I have agree so and payed a half payment for land package to singapore and it was agreed for 42k and now after making half payment there is no proper response and very arrogant attitude from the service team even if i call they don’t talk properly all of a sudden they are asking me to malena 4 thousand more than the agreed deal when i asked them the reason they said it’s beca of high rate of exchange but how can it be so much difference need help to sort this.

                                        Quoted price: rs.2, 57, 729, discount offered by branch manager: rs.5916 for the group. Hence total cost: rs.10, 25, 000.
                                        Initial payment: rs.2, 00, 000-receipt no.207773 dt.28.03.17
                                        (I) on 12.04.17, when i wanted to pay the rest, found fe exchange rate asked by branch manager more than the market rate, rbi rate and even thomas cook website rate. Sent e-mail on 12.04.17, followed up on phone and reminder e-mails on 16.04.17 and 04.05.17. Reply received only on 06.05.17.
                                        Meanwhile received final invoice on 17.04.17 for rs. 7, 30, 093 (See attachment)’considering the advance but not the discount offered by the branch manager
                                        Paid on 06.05.17, as demanded by the branch manager, rs.3, 50, 000 (Receipt no.215910), rs.3, 52, 000 (Receipt no.215911), rs, 45, 000 (Receipt no.215912)
                                        Again on 12.05.17, asked to pay rs. 397 (Receipt no.215917)
                                        Thus total paid rs.7, 47, 397 as against rs.7, 24, 177 of final invoice (Considering rs.5916 discount offered by branch manager), which is more by rs.23, 220 and needs to be refunded.
                                        (Ii) at vfs global services pvt. Ltd, for uk visa on 25.04.17, was charged rs.3768 for the group (See attachment) which has also to be reimbursed by thomas cook.
                                        (Iii) we were not given a copy of the uk visa till the last moment and was forced to buy the fe in euros from your kamanhalli office at bangalore @rs71.95 (Receipt no.4321074 dt.12.05.17) instead from your own mumbai office @rs 70.5. Excess paid for 2000 euros is rs.2, 900, which needs reimbursement.
                                        Thus total amount at (I), (Ii) and (Iii) of rs.29, 888 is expected to be reimbursed by m/s thomas cook. I am putting this up to you as i found the officials concerned not heeding in this direction. I would like to mention that if my grievance is not addressed, i would be constrained to put this up in social media and knock at the door of consumer forum, where i would demand that even the tips which were compulsorily asked for need to be reimbursed based on a court ruling earlier on the petition of a supreme court lawyer.
