Times Of India — Official Receipt not issued to me; hence agent not getting payment | |||
Form Number O0626724 / 17.12.2020 Subscriber ID CH[protected] Customer ID [protected] I subscribed for TOI Chennai Edition for one year, in Nov 2020. I got SMS confirmation stating that my subscription will commence from 01.12.2020 (valid till 30.11.2021). I have also done delivery address confirmation. I made my newspaper agent deliver the paper from 01.12.2020 and he has been doing that. I have given him the subscription ID. However, he tells me that he has difficulty getting his payment. I took this up with Mr.Balaji (which name was given by my agent as the contact person in TOI, Chennai) on 1st June for a second time. On 3rd June 2021, he said he had informed his office and they would send. I wonder why if a PDF version could not be emailed to me in 3 working days that have passed so far when the mailing of the receipt itself has been delayed by 7 months. Three working days have passed ; today is Wednesday 23.06.2021. No news from Times Internet. One year will end without my getting the newspaper and the free gift for one full year, by Nov. end.
No wonder that TOI Customer Service Rating is 14%. TOI's interest is obviously only in TPR ratings and advertisements. Who cares about the Readers?
