Dear Times of India Team,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my concern about an article that was published in the lifestyle section of your publication on 10th February 2023, titled "What apparently was just a cough turned into a stage 3 Lung cancer diagnosis: 26 year old shares how she dealt with cancer."
I am the person referenced in the article, and I was not aware of this publication nor did anyone from TOI seek my consent before publishing my personal story, which was based on my Facebook posts.
As a media organization, I believe it is important to respect individuals' privacy and seek their consent before publishing personal information. I understand the importance of sharing stories like mine to create a positive impact and change perspectives on cancer, but I would appreciate it if you could have contacted me beforehand.

I would like to request a formal clarification on this matter, and I would appreciate it if you could look into this as soon as possible.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Rasika Was this information helpful? |
