Subject: Request to not to cause disparity to/amongst valuable customers by adopting pick & chose policy, those are associated with Times Group since years.

Sir/Madam,
Apropos to the above, it is submitted that the family of the undersigned has been associated with ‘Times Group’ since last more than 02 years being your valuable subscriber, however, it has been observed that Times Group is causing disparity by adopting pick & chose policy amongst valuable customers, which the undersigned personally believes, shall not be the practice for a company of this much repute.
In this regard, your kind attention is invited towards a 02-year Newspaper subscription of ‘Times of India’ by the undersigned at his residence i.e. House No.779, HUDA Quarters, Sector 19, Panchkula, which subscription, as per his knowledge was valid till first week of August 2021. Meanwhile, being in personal staff of Chief Minister Haryana, the undersigned was allotted a govt. accommodation at Chandigarh and as such a telephonic request was made in June 2021 to your local office for change of address and for starting delivering the newspaper at the changed address, which was accepted. It is further submitted that a similar request for change of address has also been made to the office of ‘Amar Ujala’, as besides English newspaper, Hindi paper ‘Amar Ujala’ is being read by few of the family members of the undersigned, which request was also accepted.
Sir, upon having been shifted at Chandigarh, family of the undersigned had to approach local hawker of Sector 23, Chd. in order to enquire, if any annual or six-monthly scheme of Amar Ujala Hindi Newspaper is in circulation or not and vis-à-vis, few sales executives from various newspapers have contacted the family of the undersigned, which might have been routed by the local vendor. Upon personal visit of the salesperson of newspaper ‘Hindustan Times’, it has come across that similar to ‘Times of India’ paper, one Hindustan Times has also been offering 02 year subscription for Rs.999/-, however, since undersigned’s family had already developed a taste of reading Times of India, thus the Hindustan Times newspaper was not subscribed.
It is pertinent to mention that similarly, an executive of Times of India namely Zumeer Mob. No.[protected] had also visited our residence, which would have been routed by the local hawker, who had apprised regarding validity of our subscription was expiring on 04.08.2021 and requested for enrolling the Times of India subscription. He had further assured that the new subscription will get started after the expiry of ongoing scheme i.e. w.e.f. 05.08.2021 and as such,
That though, it is an undisputed fact that the undersigned had been receiving his daily copy of Times of India from 05.08.2021 even after the expiry of earlier subscribed scheme, however, he feels himself to be a victim of cheating having been inflicted upon him, as no gift item i.e. set of bowls of Tupperware etc. for enrolling a 02 year newspaper subscription, as would be given to other customers was neither disclosed nor given to him for having being associated with the Times Group continuously. The undersigned personally believes it to be a ‘BEST REWARD’ of being togetherness with the Times of India Group being its valuable subscriber, which otherwise tantamount in causing depravity and disparity amongst precious customers by adopting pick & chose policy, those are associated with Times Group since years, which shall not be the practice for a company of this much repute.
It is most imperative to state that as his family was also contacted by few sales executives of your firm on today itself i.e. on 08.08.2021, while selling their one/two year Times of India subscription, thus the undersigned firmly believes that his family is also entitled of receiving the reward being subscribed his copy w.e.f. 05.08.2021, as would be given on the subscription upon purchase of 02-year scheme known as ‘The Times Chandigarh Summer Bonanza Offer 2021-22’.
Sir, through this present letter/communication, the undersigned request your company that due benefit of the scheme upon purchasing/ enrolling /subscribing 02-year subscription may please be extended to him, so that his family members shall not feel themselves to be victims of depravity / disparity, in any manner and shall rather feels themselves to be proud of being together with Times Group for their continuous efforts/services.
The undersigned shall reciprocate, a sincere thanks for the time and trouble, your goodself has incurred in reading this lengthy communication.

Thanking you in anticipation.
Yours sincerely,

( A N K I T )
