I am writing to raise a very serious complaint regarding a Titan Raga watch (Model RAGA: 95432WM01) purchased from your store on [Date in April 2026] for Approx Rs. 7, 595/-, ,
Model Titan RAGA: 95432WM01
Invoice No: 27WGTTS[protected]
Mobile number: [protected] (In invoice bill they mentioned wrong number as [protected])
Date of Purchase: 30.04.2026
Timeline of the issue:
1. Within one month of purchase, the watch movement stopped working completely.
2. I visited your authorised service centre on [07.06.2026], where the movement/machine was replaced under warranty as the service person said (Job Sheet No. JOAS[protected]. At the time, your service centre staff verbally informed me that the watch movement/machine was being replaced under warranty.
3. However, on reviewing the service invoice just now, it states the work done as "Service Charge with Battery Replacement" – with no mention of any movement/machine replacement.
4. Your store representative informed me that the watch carries a 2-year warranty during which servicing can be availed multiple times.
5. Within just a few days of receiving the "repaired" watch, the movement is again slowing down and has now got stuck completely, for the second time in less than two months of ownership.
This is unacceptable for a watch that is barely two months old. A repeat failure of the same component within such a short span strongly indicates a manufacturing/quality defect, not a one-off issue that repeated servicing can resolve. I do not wish to enter a cycle of repeated repairs for a product that should function reliably.
I am formally requesting the following:
1. Written clarification on the exact repair work carried out during my first service visit, and why it differs from what was verbally communicated.
2. A full replacement of the watch with a new unit (not a repaired one), given the recurring defect and the unclear service history.
3. If replacement is not possible, a full refund of the purchase amount.
4. Written confirmation of the resolution timeline within 5 - 7 working days of this email.
I would also like clarity in writing on what recourse is available if such defects recur after the 2-year warranty period expires, given that this appears to be a manufacturing issue rather than wear and tear.
Please treat this as a formal escalation. If I do not receive a satisfactory response within 5 - 7 working days, I will be compelled to escalate this matter to Titan's corporate customer support, and subsequently to the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum Helpline under the Consumer Protection Act along with all supporting documents (invoice, job sheet, and correspondence).
I trust Titan values its customers and will resolve this matter promptly.
Attached all the proofs from date of purchase.
