I am shocked and pained to report an incident involving my car - Toyota Corolla on Mar 5th morning. I was returning from airport at around 9.30 AM. As we just started off from the airport within 2-3 kms, the vehicle has skidded towards the left and went uncontrollably for few seconds before the driver had to hit the pavement to stop the vehicle. The driver could not control the vehicle and brake pedals were stuck.

The front wheels got jammed.

I had bruises on my elbow and head as the vehicle lost control.I have escaped for my life as I have called and reported this incident to Toyota dealer & Toyota Kirloskar managament team.

I was a die hard fan of Toyota's quality till date. I am shocked to have had such an experience in a Toyota car.

I need to know the following .

What had happened in the car to run controllably ? Why did the brake not get applied ? What made the front wheels to get locked ? Why and where did the malfunction happen ?

Who will assure the users of toyota cars in India that they are safe to drive ?

To my surprise & shock, they don't have a failure analysis team in India which can analyze such serious safety issues. It is appalling that they are not recalling the cars with such failures.

This has to stop and Toyota has to pay for such apparent mistakes.

3/3/2011 One call come in my mobile from this mobile no [protected]. he says that i am Henry bob i came from London for submitted all document, chq, and one Toyota car to you and present time i am in Delhi airport custom department, and says that please send affidavit of claim and id proof in custom department id is custom.[protected]@hotmail.com. I send document in this id after some this he call me and says that you have to pay 12800/- custom duty against your winning gift, and he send me A/C no [protected] of state bank of India in faviour of Mohd Dilver. i deposit this amount in this A/C No. after some time i receive one mail by custom.[protected]@hotmail.com in my id when i open my id i found receipt of Indian Custom Services, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi 110037
receipt no BSF/1261T for Rs, 12800/-
After that he call me and says that 4/3/2011 i go to Reserve Bank of India than call you.
4/3/2011 i got call of Henry bob and he says that i am in R.B.I Delhi for fund transfer in your bank A/C No than he gave me Email id of R.B.I id is [protected]@live.com and says that you sent your bank A/C no Pan no, and Winning Chque in this id then i sent mail in this id .

after that he says you have to pay 25000/ rupees for fund transfer other wise your fund could not transfer in your A/C. But i had no deposit 25000/- in R.B.I than i feel he was cheating to me.

Please sir can help me and Refund my money if it is possible, if it is not possible you punish to fraudial person who cheating with all person.

It is very sorry to inform you a company like Toyota doesn’t hear to customer complaint. I have once again faced the problem of leekage of radiator this is happening with me for sth time in one and half year. You are forcing me to change my vehicle from Toyota to some other company and to approach consumer court.

After that when I left to Amritsar suddenly my car started bubbling, due to that I stopped my car & checked then I found that all the nut & bolts loose & stud was damaged . on the spot I had informed Amritsar Toyota service centre & repaired my car next day from Amritsar.
After that incident when I reached to Ghaziabad again at 20.01.2011 I given my car to uttam Toyota for service at that time they did car service only at 221739 the bill no. of that service is GZ01A-TAX li-00904 (cash) Rs. 3062/-. At the same day after 1 hr of servicing when I left the service centre with my car
Got smoking & I stopped my car on the spot and opened the bonnet it got fired. I called fire brigade
For the help & informed uttam Toyota immediately then after that with the help of crane they put the car to service centre . regarding this whole incident G.M service o[censored]ttam Toyota Mr. Ahmad, Ms. Jyoti & Mr. Govind communicated on phone with Toyota office Bangalore.

Now it is 16.02.2011 but till yet I am not having any information about my car that I got repaired or not.
Kindly tell me that, Is there any problem with external accessories which is 2-3 years old if yes then why
The service provider does not advise regarding this problem.

I am requesting you that kindly repair my car from uttam Toyota only because this is there own fault.
& need your attention that this type of incidence will not happen again in future.


Kindly answer my few questions.

1. Is this my blender to purchase the car from uttam Toyota?

2. Is this my biggest mistake to give the car for servicing to uttam Toyota only?

3. Since last two times when my car got serviced it creating problem every time is this done intentionally?

Dear Sir,
I purchased Toyota Innova GX model from Uttam Toyota, sector-63, Noida in August 2010. On 06.02.10, I had started from my Noida residence to go outstation, after travelling around 35 Kms. there was a smoke coming out from the Car near the tyre of the car. We immediately stopped the car and contacted your On-road service available in Noida, they denied to tow-away the vehicle and told us that we have to carry the vehicle to their workshop at Uttam Toyota, Sector-8, Noida. After much pursuasion, they agreed to tow-away the vehicle and we had to wait for around 4 hours at the middle of the road with my family and small children. On 08.02.11 morning I got a call from Uttam Toyota that the Clutch Plate is burnt and since the clutch plate is not covered under Warrantee, we have to pay for the replacement. Now my question is, how come a brand new Toyota Innova (the so-called best in quality) is having so poor quality of clutch plate that it is burnt in less than 6 months and around 9000 Km of driving. I am devastated by the response of the Uttam Toyota. Please replace the faulty part free of cost immediately.

Hi all!! We have all been CHEATED by Toyota. I had booked an ETIOS V model- Serene Blusih Silver on 2nd Dec with Toplink Toyota, Ranchi, Jharkhand. As per their sales officer my booking serial for ETIOS is no -03. Till date they have already delivered 06 vehicles and I am still waiting for my car, even though at the time of booking it was told that delivery would be on First Come First Served basis. I have called innumerable times to the Bangalore Call Centre as well as to the dealer, but today I received a very blunt reply from one Ms Reshma (Bangalore)- "Sir, Even we cannot tell you when you will get your vehicle!" Surprising.
Now whom shall we poor customers look upto except God Almighty. I have already availed car loan and have to produce the vehicle within one month..what am I going to do about that?
The dealer says it depends on the colour one has booked. But this was not told to us at the time of booking. I have booked V model- Serene Bluish Silver. The dealer says that I will get in March/April..Then what was the benefit of booking early on 02nd Dec?

I RECIEVED A MAIL CONTAINING THE DETAILS OF SCOTT WITH THE SCANNED PASSPORT AND THE ARRIING DETAILS. PERSON CALLED SCOTT CALLED ME FROM [protected] AND ASKED ME TO DEPOSIT THE COMBUSTION CHARGES OF INR 21,000. WHEN I DEPOSITED THE AMOUNTED ON THE NAME OF SATVINDER SINGH WITH ACCOUNT NUMBER [protected] IN SBI. THEY GIVEN ME THE URL WHICH RESEMBLES THE URL OF RBI . AGAIN ASKED ME TO DEPOSIT 98,000INR. I have purchased toyota fortuner model-2010 from Jubail, saudi arabia. While windy it is giving air sound from the door around speed 100 to 120KM/Hr. In normal weather also giving air sound from the door around speed 150 to 170 KM/hr. When i checked with your local Toyota dealer in jubail, he says that all cars having problem with these models.
This is not acceptable to the customer and cheating with the people. You need to replace immedialtely with new Fortuner.
