We have purchased Innova Car modelKUN04R-GKMNYX during May, 2012. Now have noticed a problemof continuous illumination of airbag indicator. We took the vehicle to To Lanson Toyota India, Pondicherry for its rectification. Now they saying that the sensor Assmy of Airbag to be replaced with a cost Rs. 33, 600/- plus labour charges. Our compliant is that normally such safety equipment will not tear out/damed normal usage. It should be manifacture defect and it should be replaced free of cost. In this connection have seen a report in Car Blog India regarding faulty airbags on Toyota Innovawhich they have identified defect in airbog and the part will be replaced free of cost. Please direct Lanson Toyota, Pondicherry to replace the defect with free of cost.
