[Resolved]  Trai — complaint about trading / share marketing calls and sms

I have raised a complint on 2nd Jan'18 14:45 IST by mail at [email protected] and they reply me on same day. I received "Hello Arghya, Thank you for contacting us. My name is Bishwajit, and I will be assisting you today regarding your complaint related to excessive back-ground noise while calling in Customer Care along with promotional messages against the Vodafone Mobile Number 8800784275. Based on your email below, I do understand your complaint related to excessive back-ground noise while calling in Customer Care, and for that, I have taken cognizance of your comments and the spirit in which you have shared your feedback. We focus considerable efforts to ensure high levels of service and shall further strengthen our initiatives in this direction based on your feedback because at Vodafone, we believe that our customers' inputs and feedback helps improvise our services and ensure that we strive towards achieving customer satisfaction. Further towards your concern with excessive promotional messages post activation of DND facility, and in that context, I would like to confirm you that Vodafone strictly ensures that none of its associates or Telemarketers will ever call or message you, unless it is a purely service related message or information that is vital for you as our valued customer (which does not fall under the ambit of a promotional message). Rather, I would like to assure you that your number is not shared by us with any external Tele-marketer. However, in case an external Telemarketer of any other operator sends you a message or does not scrub their calling lists, we do not have any control on that apart from flagging this to the concerned operator to take action against their telemarketers. It is thus not in our control how and when the concerned operator tackles the issue. And in that scenario you are requested to share the details of the promotional calls or messages which you have received in the below format and this needs to be reported within 3 days of the receipt of promotional calls or messages. 1.
