Trai — tata sky cheating customers with their annual plans

Tata sky has been regularly cheating customers and making false promises to sell their annual plans, confirming (At the time of selling) that there would be no changes in the plan in the stipulated one year validity period without the consent of the customer.

Their executives reiterate over and again and convince the customers that any changes in the annual plan would be incorporated after the completion of promised validity period or intermittently only at the will of the customer, based on which the customer purchases the annual pack on good faith.

Based on their promises, i too had purchased the annual platinum hd plan from tata sky on 24/12/18 having validity till 23/12/2019. But, on 01/4/19 they discontinued/deactivated some of the channels on their own asking for more subscription without giving any prior notice or seeking my consent (As was promised at the time of selling) knowing very well that the annual subscription charges were paid by me well in advance.

On writing to them asking about the breach of commitments, they don't even bother to reply the emails. Even the top officials in responsible positions do not intervene or understand the pain of the customers. They prefer to be in the back seat.

As above, not honouring the commitments, making false promises, looting, cheating and extracting money from customers for nothing have been the regular traits of tata sky team over the period of time for which the common man is suffering and repenting for investing in their schemes.

Therefore, it is humbly requested to please take a strict action against tata sky for cheating the customers and selling their plans under false pretext, booking them u/s 420 of ipc and directing them to refund the hard earned money of the persons victimized by the service provider.
