Trai — Transfer of ownership of Jio SIM to legal heirwith benefits .Reason : demise of SIM holder

Dear Sir,

I would like to bring to Ur notice that my father Late Shri.Pravinchandra P.Shah was hospitalised for a week and had a sudden demise on 26th March2021. During his hospitalisation, he lost his mobile with the jio sim. Unfortunately we could not apply for a SIM replacement since he was hospitalised.

All his bank account and other government entities is associated with the above number. Also being his daughter, I had recharged his SIM in February 2021 with an amount of rs.2599 being 365 days recharge in advance enable him to use uninterrupted services at his old age.

There was delay in procuring his death certificate due to the covid related lockdown . So upon receipt of the death certificate, I personally visited the jio gallery in Kharghar & filled the form and submitted necessary documents of my father as well as mine.
After submitting the documents, till 10 days there was no progress in the case bcz some Mr. Kiran Thorat did not forward my docs to concerned department. Finally when I asked them that I would like to speak to someone senior, they have me number of Mr.Pushpendru who agreed that they are actually not aware of the process of transfer of ownership from one person to another in case of death.

Would like to highlight that in tough times like pandemic, where in I'm jobless, anyhow I managed to recharge my retired old father's SIM for a whole year .
I humbly request you to transfer the above SIM to my name with the benefits of above balance recharged amount.

Kindly be advised that I have submitted the
Necessary documents for name transfer.
Today recd a msg from Jio that they will transfer the sum to my name but cannot transfer the balance recharge of rs.2599, inspite the SIM is active, it's only the change of ownership and not number portability.
