[Resolved] Travel Triangle — my booking has been shown as travelled | |
Sir, We are 2 senior citizens (Aged 70 and 76 years). We had booked our tour to vietnam/cambodia from 7th to 15th march, 2020 from mumbai, through traveltriangle and their agent, s. Viet travel at vietnam - booking id 65492765. I paid the 1st instalment vide their invoice of dollars 490/- + 12 dollars being agent's tour booking charges on 17th january, 2020. My 2nd instalment was due on 20th february, 2020. In the meanwhile since the coronavirus scare erupted, i informed mr. Karan dewan of traveltriangle that since we are senior citizens and as per govt. Of india's restrictions, being more vulnerable to the epidemic with heart and kidney problems, we would not be able to travel during the said period but would like to postpone it. To a later date. I also informed ms. Lucy of s. Viet travels, vietnam that i would like to postpone the tour and not at all cancel it.in response she told me i would have to pay dollars 40/- per ticket extra for change of flight dates. She never ever told me to pay the money immediately. Or else i would have paid it. I presumed that the extra for change in flight ticket date would have to be paid In my next instalment. Now both traveltriangle and the agent are telling me that the tour has been taken. I would like to inform here that i had told both the parties that i would pay the remaining amount when i decide the next Dates as the pandemic and lockdown is imposed and we being senior citizens cannot travel under any circumstances..
