I had booked Maldives package for my son and daughter in law who got married on 19.03.20 as Honeymoon gift. But unfortunately due to on spread of Corona Virus it was not possible for them to travel.
Since both of them are Doctors in Germany they have very limited leaves it would not be possible for them to postpone their trip in near future.
These leaves were also sanctioned as a special case for their wedding.
In view of above and High alert and various initiatives of Government discouraging foreign travel, I requested Travel Triangle to refund the money to me. But they insisted for taking credit shell otherwise they would deduct 50 % amount. Vide my mail dated 25.04.20 I wrte to them that I would like 100 % refund as this is not as per Business ethics to force the customer to use your services at a later date when I had already explained my position to refund the amount as my son and daughter in law both are Doctors in Germany and will not be able to get leave for holidaying as they have to rise to the occassion and treat the Covid 19 patients which is going to take considerable time.
On the basis of your business policy you are forcing the customer to avail your services at any cost or get the refund at almost 60% deduction which you will agree is a big amount of the customer's hard earned money.
But they did not give in so reluctantly I agreed with a protest to refund full amount .Vide their mail dated 06.05.2020 they asked me to let them know the date of travel in September 2021. They also wrote that no need to decide it now if it is not decided yet. You can let us know the dates once the situation gets better.
Vide my mail dated 24.06.2021 I again asked for refund and wrote that due to continued Covid 19 wave prevailing in India and unfortunate demises of our family members we would not be in a position to undertake trip to Maldives.
But till date no reply has been received from their end.
Please help me get my hard earned money back with interest and penalty of causing torture in these difficult timed of Covid where every organisation is giving relaxation and treating customers sympathetically. Was this information helpful? |
