Travel Triangle — not refunding of my payment made for a trip scheduled during country lockdown

We had booked a tour for 6 senior citizen people for my family with travel triangle for bangalore (1d) tirupati (1d) mysore (2d) ooty (3d) madurai (2d) rameshwaram (1d) kanyakumari (1d) from 13th march 2020 to 26th march 20 and total duration 14 days & 13 nights. My booking id is 6894076. They quotes me inr rs.155, 200.00 and told me to pay in 3 installments.

1st installment date and money was 17th jan 2020 – rs 62, 000.00 [paid]
2nd installment date and money was 03 mar 2020 – rs 62, 000.00 [paid]
3rd installment date and money was 17 mar 2020 – rs 30, 000.00 [not paid]

I had paid 1st and 2nd installment on time which amount was rs 1, 24, 000 and 3rd installment not paid because of suddenly got message from travel agent due to covid-19 leading to a country lock-down we will not be able to travel. That’s why i didn’t paid 3rd installment.

Before start travel
Travel triangle agent called me (Agent name pallavi sharma) and informed me your whole trips will be managed by shoppers trip and shoppers agent name rakesh will help you. If you have still any issues so please contact with me (Pallavi) and her senior manager jyoti gupta (Travel triangle).
Scenario
Before started this trips i asked to travel agent rakesh (Shoppers trip) is everything fine? He told me yes sir, you can start trips as per schedule (13th march 2020) from bangalore and trips has been started as per our plan.
My family was started travel from 13th march from bangalore and stay one day and after went to tirupati 14th march and stay tripati 15th march. Again i talk with agent rakesh (Shoppers agent), due to covid-19, lots of state lock-down, is this fine to continues travel. He told me, lot of our ppl are travailing there, so there were any no issues, continue it. I requested many times it is dangerous to continues travel but then rakesh told me we are not going to cancel your trip, so we decided continue it, after then my family went to mysore 16th march 2020 and stay in hotel which was booked by shoppers trip.

When we reached mysore and see everything was lockdown due to covid-19 and we stay in hotel 16th march and 17th march, again i called to rakesh and asked him what is going on? You told me nothing is lockdown and here everything is lockdown and again force to my family go to ooty as per schedule and cabs driver comes to hotel pick-up my family date 18th march 2020 in the morning and rakesh called to me and told in ooty nothing is lockdown, so now continue your family trips. But when my family was started travel for ooty and see after few km gone, cab driver told to my family, sir everything is lockdown in ooty also and hotel will not allow check-in. So he told now we are going to bangalore.

After all this scenario i called to senior manager jyoti gupta (Travel triangle) but she didn’t pick-up my phone, then called to pallavi sharma (Travel triangle) and she told me jyoti left the job. She provided me other senior manager kunnal’s (Travel triangle) number. I called to kunnal and tell the entire scenario, he told me give me few minutes going to talk with rakesh (Shoppers agent) and update you and also tell me you can also call to rakesh and ask about it.

When i called to rakesh and asking this situation his behaviour was suddenly changed, telling me we are not going to do anything and not going to continues your trips, only i can suggest you please arrange tickets for your family and tell him go to home. I was really socked because of his behaviour and attitude, really this was very bad behaviour from rakesh (Shoppers agent), never accept it. I don’t know how to say. But it was really unacceptable, here not going to write what he told me.

After this entire scenario, i called to kunnal, and asking update, he told me sir please arrange ticket for your family and we are going to provide on free hotel in bangalore for 1 night. When i asked to kunnal what about my trip? They told me we will refund it. After then i booked ticket for my family and they go back to home.

Next day i called to kunnal date 19th march 2020, but he didn’t pick-up my called, then called to pallavi sharma, she didn’t my phone after then i go to travel triangle website from chat i try to talk with all of guys, they replied me on chat, we are informing you, refund is not possible. No amount going to refund. Again called to kunnal and pallavi both from other phone number and they picked my phone and told him, i know unfortunately due to covid-19 leading to a country lockdown we will not be able to travel and asked to rakesh for a refund of the rest payment, he told me refund is not possible. Both guys (Pallavi and kunnal) told me, we can’t do anything because shoppers trip not refunding your payment. So that’s why we are also not going to refund any payment. I told them, i paid in your account and responsibility talk with him and refund my rest amount. Pallavi and kunnal cut phone call and last few days trying to talk with them but not respond from all guys (Rakesh, pallavi, kunnal).

After then again i opened travel triangle website and go to chat room and dropped message inside chat “i am going to consumer court against both of travel triangle and shoppers agent”.

They replied me like this - “sure, you can, but at last and finally we will say amount is non-refundable and non-refundable. We will not be able to reply you on this further. Thanks “

Awaiting response on my complaint. Travel Triangle has not yet go in touch with me. How can I escalate the issue now?

what are you talking. who had cancelled this trip, ? is this cancel from your side or our side? Need money back at any cost. it's not our mistakes .
