Travel Triangle — Not responding to complaints raised on mails.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience I recently had while booking a holiday package through your portal. I was appointed a private travel agent (Next Trip Life), who quoted me a lumpsum amount of 67K for my flight bookings. I transferred the money to the agency firm (Next trip Life) as provided by the agent.

Later, the agency partner agent informed me that the price he had quoted belonged to some other schedule of the same destination flights, and he had mistakenly quoted the price. I argued that I had agreed to do the booking only on the basis of the price he had quoted, and the extra price (15K around) was beyond my budget. Despite bargaining, I agreed to pay the money (11.5K around) as I had already transferred the previous money to the agent. He kept telling me that the price had again gone up by 1K, and he had to pay the diff money (3.5K around) from his own pocket and kept on asking the money from me.

Later on, when I complained to Travel Triangle and informed the matter to them they said that they don’t have any info about the booking as the same was not done through their portal. The agent then forwarded an invoice of the booking (where the name and barcode of the booking portal was blurred seeming like a fake invoice), and the total amount shown was near about 79k, which was nearabout the money I had already paid. While trying to retrieve my booking on Air Asia I found the booking to me made by [protected]@gmail.com and not by makemytrip as evident from the Air Asia portal. He was also continuously telling a lie that he had to pay 3.5K around from his own pocket. At that time, I checked on Skyscanner, whereon the price for the same flight came to around 67K on Cleartrip, excluding convenience fees to be levied at payment gateway. I argued for the same, and he said that they don't use that site, thereby incurring a loss of (12K-11K) to me.

Moreover, I did not receive any info from Travel Triangle that the said money needs to be transferred only to Travel Triangle Bank Account from the Travel Triangle trip guide. That Next Trip went over Travel Triangle to book the flight tickets and earn all the profits. Even after complaining the same on Travel Triangle, I did not receive any resolution. Only I was said over WhatsApp that if I had proceeded further, the amount would have been increased to the amount of what I had already paid only on their assumption. Moreover, the Travel Triangle Trip guide does not respond to calls and didn't call back ever after calling for three times and doesn't solve the issue and provide a suitable response.

What if the money I had paid to them were forfeited by them!!!
