Uber India — Behavior of the Drivers

In the last one and a half years every time I book an Uber, the Uber driver calls and asks me the destination location. Uber has the policy of not telling the driver about the destination location. Whether I tell the driver or not they cancel the booking. The same thing happens if I book an Uber any time of the day. Often after several cancellations, I get the driver going. The behavior of the driver is rude and makes me feel unsafe. It is not a matter of once or twice. It has been happening every time I book an Uber. On asking the driver once the driver said they call due to Covid-19, which is absurd. It has become a regular phenomenon. I feel personally offended and haven't been able to understand the reason behind it.
