Uber India — cancellation charges after driver cancelled the trip | |
On 08/01/2018 at 12.39pm booked a uber cab from gate no 3 police commisioner office pune to safire park old mumbai pune highway pune. Maruti swift dzire driver somnath accepted the ride. After 10 mins he requested us to come 300m away to gate no 2 which we did. Again waited for 5 mins and then he cancelled the trip. We booked again and omkar accepted the ride and we paid rs 113, but the trip detail shows 0 payment. The estimated amount was rs 71 and billed amount was rs 113.50. I have not received receipt for this ride by email. An outstanding payment of rs 42.50 is being shown on my app. Since the driver cancelled the ride this amount should not be charged on us. Such behaviour of driver and wrong leving of such cancellation charges will deter people to use uber. Please look into the matter and reverse the cancellation charge levied.
