I have taken Uber Ride in Delhi on 19th June in Delhi from Sarita Vihar.
Driver Asked for Extra cash which I refused since payment mode was credit card. I asked Driver to stop and cancel ride if he cannot continue as per ride payment terms. Driver dropped me but did not cancel the ride and continue to ride. I reported the issue to uber emergency helpline. they asked me to cancel and book other ride.
I was charges 108 Rs for the ride which did not even start.
I raised issue with Uber on their portal they changed the fare from 108 Rs to 98 Rs instead of completely waiving it off as committed by emergency help line. Uber did not had any helpline to speak to on this matter.
I further wrote an email to [protected]@uber.com
I just received automated response with no mechanism to speak to agent to resolve the issue.
Also on 10:53 PM I had to cancel the ride mid way since driver refused to turn on the AC. I was stil charged for the ride where Driver was using the car with Faulty AC for Uber rides. I was still charged Rs 350.85 for the ride.
Also Uber has been deliberately over charging and correcting fares upon users highlighting it. Was this information helpful? |
