Uber India — denial of payment by driver

Dear Sir /Madam,

This is regarding a serious issue that has been implicated on me for the journey that was undertaken on August 4th evening

Uber Lite Booked Date August 4th Evening
Time : 20.00 hrs Approximate
Destination: Powai Sun Shine to Yogi Restaurant
Problem Faced :Driver sense of driving was correct, speed, zipping, honking and reckless driving on pot holes and bumpers. When consciously corrected the driver he refused to acknowledge along with driving he was constantly talking on his phone. He was again admonished and advised to concentrate on his driving and our safety .

As we reached our destination the said amount Rs. 238/-was paid as follow denominations 2 x 100 notes, 4 x 10 notes .
While getting off the car we again reminded the driver to be mindful and respect the passengers safety while driving. The entire payment was completed in the presence of 2 other riders who were friends/family as PROOF.
Feedback has been provided immediately on the app.

The next day we received a call to understand the issue which was explained to the customer support team and the arrogance of the driver .

As per the customer support team they should have mentioned about the Non Payment which was reflecting from our end. which i got to notice only when the call got over.

If I as a customer o[censored]ber did not pay the driver it should have been dealt immediately and not the next day, we are respectable citizens who opt for Uber regularly would never do a demeaning thing of not paying the driver and availing Uber services. The driver should have called the Uber Helpline, should have availed police support which is prompt in Mumbai or not moved from the place if the payment was not paid.

The DRIVER knowing that the feedback /rating would be negative has deliberately twisted the ride by fabricating a false case of non payment .

First I need a call with your senior most person from Uber - second the driver needs to be sacked and his license should be revoked for the next 10 years.

I[censored]BER is still implication false charges to pay the previous balance it is not fair and I will deal with this at a serious level.

A few rustic drivers like this will black list Uber so please gear up and get your processes /training/integrity in place for the betterment of your customers.
