Uber India — not accepting payment in card and lack of support from customer care

I have used Uber in US without any complaint. If there was a minor issue, it was solved very quickly by the customer care.
In India, I am just shocked and disappointed by the sheer difference in service and customer care. First off, I added a new form of payment by an amex card. The payment was authorised and I completed the ride. When I tried to book the next ride, a message pops up that my previous payment could not be processed(why?, i have no idea) and I'll have to pay both the previous amount and the current amount in cash. Next, I added an ICICI bank mastercard. I faced the same issue. For every other trip, the cards were working and for the next trip, I was told to pay for two trips in one go and in cash. I sent an email with screenshots as proof to Uber customer care India. They got back with absolutely no solution other than the fact that there is some problem in the backend with amex and ICICI bank mastercards. It is very convenient that the only two cards I have, which work everywhere else, cannot be used with Uber. By this point, the app wasn't taking cash as a mode of payment either. When I contact uber regarding this new development, the solution I was given was that they can fix the part where cash is being accepted as a form of payment. I was additionally told that a manager will call me up within 24 hours for the same. Neither has any manager called me, nor have I received any update regarding my problem. This issue had started on July 31st. The existence of some bug in the backend is understandable. However, the lack of customer support and no solution at all is outright unbearable. I deserve some compensation and a final solution to this problem. How can you let a company that is evidently supporting the use of cash over cards continue to do so without and repercussions?
