On august 2, 2018, i booked an uber from jenny's residency to iskcon coimbatore, in the city of coimbatore, india. I had to escort a guest, but since the guest was engaged with some people at the above mentioned hotel, the driver (Tarun vikram: [protected]) became restless and said that there's another pickup and that he needed to go. As a customer i asked home to wait and i even agreed to pay extra for the waiting time. But he insisted to get my money and get another driver for my pickup. He took rs. 100 from me and drove off. The other driver never came. This guy cheated me for rs. 100 and ran away, without picking up my guest.
I demand an immediate inquiry into this and i want my cash back.

    We have opted your service to drop one of our higher official to karapakkam yesterday by around 16.40 by swift desire the driver name is mr velmurgan - [protected].

    From the beginning, he was not behaved properly, further asking the higher official to know about the money availability with him,. Our person doubt on his integrity, he said money not available and will pay at the time of dropping.

    Finally the driver mr velmurgan dropping him at sholinganallur for unknown reason and went off by using the filthy language without collecting money.

    By around 18.30 called our executive and asking him to pay by paytm since the operator not willing to re-pay the money. Further he said if not paid threatening about his strength o[censored]ber around 5000 staff/drivers will disturb them even in the night for getting the money. Added he said he will post the incident by whats up.

    This atrocious behaviour should be warned and need your team support on this, since we are utilizing your service even for dropping our lady staff in the late hours.

    We doubt on his behaviour on the following:

    1. Due to drunken status he has mis-behaved
    2. Collecting more money from the customer

    Kindly investigate and reply on this. We will prove any point of time

    I was charged twice for one cancellation. I paid a sum of 47.25 Indian rupees yesterday and today also and I have already sent an email today morning

      I call uber as cheating uber. Their driver didn't picked me up and started the ride. He didn't informed or cancelled the ride and instead i was charged. When i raised the complaint their idiotic customer service person replied saying as they see trip was finished at the intended place they cannot refund. These # just looked at where it is ended but never looked at whether the customer was inside the car or not or if the trip started from the starting location of customer. I have been chasing them for past 36 hrs and no responses so far. I even have started tagging their india ceo and global ceo in twitter and even they haven't responded to it. This shows they just want money and mr. Amitjain is not at all a fair as it shows or as he speaks.

        This is not the first time that uber driver, will wainto cancel the trip or force custom to cancel the trip. Today i book cab with driver abdul at bangalore. He was just 4 minutes away from my pickup, but didn't turned was asking me to. Cacell the trip. I didn't cancelled rather i booked ola and complete my trip. I wanted my early morning hours because if this.

        This is not the first time, 2 weeks back. I had to rrach to airport early. Mornlning, but the drive didn't turn up wasted my 30 minutes.

          I have booked a taxi by Uber APP from my mobile on 9th July, 2018 morning from DDU marg to T3 terminal, Delhi Airport. After completing the trip I paid the amount in cash to the Driver. After one month when I returned from abroad I try to book the taxi from Uber APP. To my surprise the payment for 9th July trip was showing pending against me. After that I was not able to book the Uber taxi. How to approach the Uber as there is no helpline number.

              Uber drivers have started an unprofessional habit of starting the trip without us boarding the cab, and then travel a certain distance and end the trip.

              This amount is however refunded but looks like uber has an unethical practice that they themselves seem to entertain their drivers to practice as this not only increase uber's market stand and also looks like drivers get incentives for number of trips taken per day. (Even if it means they start and stop a trip without actually dropping a customer to their destination).

              Would want to sue uber for this poor service they are providing and need to know how and what they are doing to avoid this experience.
              Even though these drivers are third party, uber is responsible as a service provider to answer my questions.

              I then had to actually click on emergency button on my app even if it connected to the police to know why the driver was going on the trip without me in it. Or did he pick up someone else? Who will be responsible if the driver is upto something illegal, will the rider who is actually supposed to be in the cab also be responsible for any law that the driver may break criminally?

                On 31st july booked uber tax for travelling from koramangala to nelamangala,

                After waiting 25min, vehicle reached at spot vehicle no ka05 4626 etios,
                Driver name chetan,

                After reaching spot driver asked me to cancel the booking and give the amount directly to him he will drop or look for another booking.

                It was an urgent trip i could not resist, i cancelled uber booking, paid 1500ruppes for dropping at nelmangala,
                He said if payment made through uber he will get only min commission that is the reason he want to do so.

                  I have been traveling with uber for an year and a half now and i'd always given all kinds good, better, best and bad, worst and ugly feedback of my trips. Uber hardly responded to the feedbacks and most of the complaints were related to driver profile not matching to the actual driver who comes to pick up - 40%
                  Drivers talking on the phone while driving and missed many accidents and had accidents - 40%
                  Others - 20%

                  Uber customer support instead of correcting routed my number to the drivers and the driver used to call be and threaten me. When asked uber they confronted that they are cross checking. Is this the way they cross check?
                  Uber think refunding the amount will subside my feedbacks but this went on for a while and one day there was a worst incident of my life, the uber car was smelling of dead animal and smell of blood and i the driver refused to open the windows and cancel the trip. I could not stop the and get down as the doors were locked and request the driver to drop me off the to the place where i can see population than an abandoned junction. After 20 minutes he dropped me off and refused never cancelled the trip and i was charged for the trip. I raised an emergency via the uber app, but in vain.

                  I logged a complaint with uber and they instantly blocked my account. I have been following up with them for a response for such nasty action of theirs via various sources, but till date no response. This is a question on integrity and i need a response as to why did they block my account without nay prioir intimation.

                    I am uber partner with number plate mh01 cr3625. Currently my driver at night shift is facing issues that he doesn’t get pickups despite being online. I use to think that he is is not working properly. I checked the surge and to my surprise der was no surge no where. Poor driver after doing night shift came back and started doing morning shift again the same issue no surge. I am worried now whether I should change my parter as business is running low. Aldo your call centre agent whom I just spoke today 1st aug 2018 at around 2:26pm is useless and not appropriate his name is Vijay as he told me. Please do let me know.

                      I am ignited to lodge a complain against uber india servicing at guwahati city due to their incompliance to my trip from guest house, assam engineering college, jallukbari to lgbi airport, guwahati at around 7:38 am on 30th july 2018. While after confirmation my booking for this trip they sent me a taxi bearing registration no. As01h6825. I contacted the driver two times to come to the pick up point and waited upto 8:05 am. Seemingly with an ill intention to sabotage my time bound flight, the driver responded that he could not be able to come to come to my point. Unconditionally, i am compelled to book another service provider. Just after that a taxi bearing no. As25cc6162 came near to me without noticing me for the new driver at 8:08 am. I did not accept his offer and got into the newly booked tax. Then i got a message from uber that i have to pay rs.42 as cancellation fee in the next ride. That amount is a matter of triffle as compared to their i'll intention to sabotage my flight. Please resolve the issue of such irresponsible service despite the inconvenience of the customer.

                      To authenticate my telephonic talk with the driver can be traced out from the record of the service provider. This happens in other cases of customers especially in Guwahati city and spoiled my trust worthiness o[censored]ber of other cities of India.I always used to ride Uber and never met suchlike incidents at others.

                      Their trickery act is a sort of tool to entrap the consumer at such inescapable situation. It should not be allowed to continue. While the Uber app is deceptively showing nearby vehicles to attract the customer to pick up within a short time. But on the contrary, it takes much longer than the intended time.

                      Please solve the original complaint at an early date
                      Hi. I was charged cancellation fee for a trip I had booked on 7 July 2018. Driver was not moving in my direction or picking my call. I had already waited for good 15 ton20 mins. I had reported this to Uber authority. They said amount pending has been refunded. But even today if I try to book a cab it shows balance amount has not been paid for that trip. I don’t know what to do?

                        After one books a cab, many drivers now wait for a user to call in order to forcibly ask and find out the destination of the planned trip. If they do not like the destination, they simply cancel from their side and uber routes another cab. This is increasing the wait time for the user significantly.

                        I'm prerna tomar i have a car, today on 30.07.2018 your one taxi with no up32kn2763 at high court collapsed with my car as he drove so badly in rain. I got dant in my car.
                        Kindly do something in this matter or i'll register fir with police as they drive so badly on road. This is unacceptable as most o[censored]ber drivers drive very badly, without any indication they turn anywhere.

                          Today (30/07/2018- monday) about 2'o clock i booked cab from tambaram to chrompet, chennai. Driver name balaji maruti suzuki swift cab number tn05ba1181 and he was in another trip to drop a customer near vandalur but still he has accepted my booking when i contact him he dint respond properly and he said me to cancel the booking that he want to drop a customer near vandalur. I request him to cancel my booking and refuse that he already has so many cancellation and also he get penalty charges.

                          This is second time i am facing same issue with uber cab drivers and finally i only cancelled my booking and i also charged penalty for your driver careless mistake. Please ensure that charges has been removed from your end. Kindly take a step against cab driver. Thanking you advanced.

                          I had booked for auto and driver picked the call after accepting the trip. He asked drop place and said that he will come and then cancelled the trip. It is night and it is hard to get the cabs or autos first of all and if this is the case upon that, how to trust your company! I again had to book another auto. What if it's emergency?

                          On 22 July at 10.35 PM I tried to book an uber from residence to Howrah railway station.
                          It showed 23 minutes away. Clearly it was not feasible to take the ride.
                          I did not book it. Still a cancellation charge of Rs 47 is shown pending against my acct
                          I had booked the uber share and the charge shown was 171rs. I dropped off earlier and I was charged rs.220 which is ridiculous. Uber is looting the customers.

                            When you are hungry and you head to a hotel. You ask for the menu and you are left with only few options to choose from. What will you do?

                            Obviously choose from the options you have and pay for it. Price of the food remains the same.

                            Similarly, in case if you are planning to rent a cab and in an hurry during peak hours. Uber will charge you the amount which is 4x times of the regular fare.

                            What is the philosophy behind charging extra during peak hours?

                              Booked taxi around on 17.07.2018 hrs at 10.45 hrs. Taxi number with driver jubair, hyndai from international delhi airport terminal 2 to 31 deepali enclave, pitampura, delhi 110034. The total charged was rs 997.00 where as it should not be more than rs 550.00. The payment was done by paytm therefore i could not see this charges. When i was review my trip it was observed that the trip was as per record from international delhi airport terminal 2 to pocket 11, janta flats c-689, mathura road, okhla vihar block c jamia nagar, jasola new delhi 110020. This address was not given while booking was made by my mobile no [protected]. Request kindly resolve the issue and correct the address as given which is 31, deepali, pitampura, delhi 110034 and correct the bill accordingly.

                                On 29th june near about 4:40 am i booked the cab and contacted driver. Driver said he ia coming. I was waiting and waiting. I didnt see the cab moving. The again i called 8-10 times but the cab driver didnt pick up the call so i had to cancel the cab as i had to catch train in yeshwantpur bangalore. After canceling they had sent an email for 41 rupees. After reaching my destination i called customer care and got below message. But didnt get a call.

Without my permission he changes his route and then started harassing me by pressing my penis and then tried to kiss me. Then i called the local police station but i haven't get any responses from there. Then in a signal near paikpara (Kolkata 700037) i come down from the cab by giving him some other excuse.

                                    I booked for uber pull on 18/jul/2018, it was showing 59/- inr initially, but later it showed 79/-, i found my selection o[censored]ber pool changed autometically to uber go and driver confirmed same, but i clicked particularly on pull only. So, refund the additional cost. I contacted uber customer care but they refused to return of overcharging. Now, uber india has a new policy to cheat customer, they showed a price o[censored]ber pool but later charged for uber go. This total cheating. And, there is no customer care no. O[censored]ber.

                                      I was put through 45 minutes of inconvenience by uber today. I came out of the airport and i had about inr 1200 in the paytm account. 4 drivers cancelled on me just because the destination was not of their desire. Upon the booking of the 5th cab i get a prompt that my balance if inr 400 which is insufficient balance to book a cab. Apparently uber has gone ahead and blocked the minimum balance and a sum of 350 over that based on some new scheme which popped up at that time. I had no intimation of this till that moment. The uber personnel who stands at the cab pick up area also was not aware of these and he does not have any details of how to contact uber like us all. After searching for some time he gave me an address of contacing uber which i need to try tomorrow as the office is closed as of now. Uber is bangalore has been a trouble to many o[censored]s. One more family was having cancellation issues at the same moment. I want the company to be more responsive and responsible for their actions. At last i took the reliable airport bus service after wasting so much of my time on a saturday.
