I have requested for a service through urbanclap for my laptop repair which was not booting up. After so many attempts the technician came from it panthers and tried rectifying the issue. They changed the motherboard, screen and also asked me to upgrade the ram and charged me ₹5600 but the core problem remained.

When i placed a 2nd request, they didn't turn up and cancelled my request saying that they've tried contacting me but to no avail. When i placed a request for the 3rd time, they again cancelled the request citing the same reason despite the fact that i have already spoken with it panthers a day before and fixed the timing. Even when i spoke with urbanclap, they're not ready to listen and act.

Please assist me in resolving my issue as i have already my heard earned money and valuable time to resolve the issue.

I had registered myself on urbanclap for physics tutor. The tutor named kanhaiya jha phone number [protected] who lives in dwarka new delhi charged me 2000 as advance but never came to teach my daughter. Now whenever i call him, he switches off his phone. I not only faced monetary loss, but also my daughters time was wasted for one month as we were hopeful that he would come to teach. Urban clap should hire only verified professionals.

Please be aware of the shoddy service rendered by this service provider who operates through urban clap (Name - richard naveen)

First of all, there is no team of constant workers with this person (Richard naveen) who manages the projects that he undertakes through urban clap. He gets workers on an adhoc basis & puts them to do the work. You are not sure of their skills and the persons change every now and then.
Richard takes the advance payment from customers like us stating that he is buying the material needed (In this case paint boxes) for the work which is yet to start. Workers come for a couple of days and the entire team absconds without any intimation. There is no answering to your calls and no response whatsoever.
Our experience during these two months were - they do a shoddy service after taking the money and you will have to keep your fingers crossed on the quality of work & their attendance for the work.in our project, there has been a lot of rework adding to further delays.
Our project started two months back and was stopped in-between due richard's workers leaving him. It is just sort of abandoned with no information from richard to us. He has now ran away with a huge sum of advance money.
So, sharing our experience through this feedback for others to be careful when they want their projects to be executed by this person.

Few days back i booked a service of my scooty repair. Firstly the unprofessional behaviour by their vendor for calling me and asking me to come on a different time slot. After i complained on urbanclap customer care, they came on time slot i choosed to. I placed a request for mobile repair through UrbanClap App. One man came from Repair Easy . Com for collection of mobile and asking for Rs 250/ as advance money. I opposed paying the money as there was no such condition put by the Urban Clap. I handed over the mobile on condition that the advance money will be adjusted from the repair charge. For next two days no message or call either from the Repair Easy. No body was lifting the phone. When I talked the issue with Urban Clap they were even not aware that phone has been picked up by Repair Easy. Total Un-professional act. After 4 days I received a call that your hand set can't be repaired as no spare available.So far they have not returned the hand set and the money.

We hired a website developer through the UC app. the company claims that they provide validated and genuine professionals. The developer called Machway solutions, took our money and never delivered the project. we are still chasing the developer with no help from urban clap.

The person called Javed and Bilal have taken our money and are not responding to our calls any more.

this is absolute opposite to what your company promises.

I have also written to Consumer court and would definately file a leagal Suit against you and your recomended asupplier.

Damaged the pipes inside the wall-worst experience with urbanclap later. Was very much satisfied with urbanclap until i got assigned with one very low skilled plumber named vajresh (Bangalore). Next day of completion of his work i realized that he has damaged the pipes inside the wall. Further to my bad luck was getting the same plumber assigned whenever i tried to book plumber again. He was smartly playing with the app and not coming to repair inspite of me requesting him multiple times. I was an partner for urban clap, they wanted to us topay mony urban clap, they give leads all useless, they are eating money like anything. I lost some 5000 to 6000. Now they abuse using bad words not recharging in there website. Please i would request to take action on it.

Next day of completion of his work i realized that he has damaged the pipes inside the wall. Further to my bad luck was getting the same plumber assigned whenever i tried to book plumber again. He was smartly playing with the app and not coming to repair inspite of me requesting him multiple times.

Initially it started with a washing machine repair through urban clap app and the technician came and pick up the machine for repair. They told that the issue is with the drum and they replaced the same. Paid the invoice and after 2 weeks, again the problem started. After multiple follow up with acs and urban clap, the washing machine got picked up after a month. They delivered the rectified machine after 3 weeks (That too after rigorous followup with urban clap), after 2 washes, the machine stopped working.

I have been having bad experience with urban clap escalation team as they promise everytime (Atleast 10+ calls i had with escalation team) and every time, they will say next day 10am they will address the solution. Everytime i have to call urbanclap for a response and the same story repeats. Urban clap your service and escalation team is horrible and i will never suggest anyone to use urban clap

I booked an AC service request from urban clap and got it done on 8th of April. But after the service, one of the 3 ACs stopped working. I immediately told the servicing guy that it's not working properly. But he said, it takes 10 mins for AC to start cooling. So i stopped the AC and give them their money and took their phone number, incase it still doesn't work.
Fast forward 2-3 days and I tried to switch on the AC but it wasn't working. I tried calling the servicing guy. He told me that he will come today to repair the fault caused by servicing.But He didn't come back. I tried calling him regularly for a week and got the same response. This got me irritated and i complained the same to URBAN CLAP, because i have booked it from their website and it's their responsibility. But those cheaters refused to take my request and even asked me to now book a repairing request and pay for request and for the damage. I tried to convince them that it's their problem. They for once tried to contact that servicing guy, but when that guy didn't take up their call, they put the blame back on me. It's such a fraud company, they will claim a damage insurance on their website but will not take action once the guy they send has done some damage. These fraudsters are just interested in money and once you pay them they won't listen to you. No matter whose fault it is.

Service Booked Date: Jan 28th, 2017 -Refrigerator repair service on Urban Clap.
First Visit Date: Technician visited on Jan 31st 2017
Service Requested: Refridgerator was not running.
Description of Incident: Technician reviewed and said the mother board has to be replaced. However, the cost will be around Rs.6000 + service. He said my fridge is a failure model hence procuring the mother board will take a few days and possible to not get the part too.
He then said he will repair the mother board and fix it instead. When asked how long the life would be he said 3-4 yrs after repair.
He insisted on fixing a stabilizer - When asked if it is so necessary as mine has run with an inbuilt one for the last 5yrs, he said the mother board has failed because of fluctuations in power, hence it is necessary.
He quoted Rs.6500 in total. He said he will take the part and come back next day. However, knowing I was ready to pay without any qualms, he fixed the board the same day and called me. It was fitted the next day itself. Stabilizer was fitted the following day. All done the fridge worked for 3-4 days, and again it failed. Then the technician has came and changed some part in the freezer. Again it failed. He came back and changed a sensor. It didnt work. He came back and switched it to the freezer. And finally nothing worked. He left and didnt call back for follow up.
Samsing authorized service center visited us and in 10 mins inspected and informed us that the mother board has gone. It can ONLY be replaced and would cost Rs.13000 and it can not be repaired. He said the technician who came earlier has simply fooled us. A stabilizer also was not required and the one installed was not even a good brand like Vguard and the cost charged was way too much.

I complained to Urban Clap - They asked me to talk to the service center. Service Center guys called and took details. I called back to remind them on the status of refund for the utterly poor and incompetant service. No news from them.

I would like to book a complain against ACS machinery service, R.T Nagar.

I have booked a washing machine repair service through Urban clap. I have booked using this phone number [protected] in case you want to verify.

Techinician from ACS machinery service came, changed electronic board and gave 6 month warranty on it. After 2-3 washing board stopped working. Called them again and again, they did not pick up the call, at last after 15 days picked up the call, took the board again and started ignoring our calls again. Its been 20 days since they took the board still no sign when they will return it.

We are calling to Mr. Samiulla on his contact number [protected].

I want Urban clap to take strict actions against him, I recommend deregister this service provider from Urban clap.

Had hired a a beautician from urban clap- an online portal providing locla home services promising. They have cheated by ending the contract by not turning up for the promised date but taking full money. This is outrageous as the commitment of reliable services made by Urban clap is all a marketing gimmick. They are here to only cheat and make money by misguiding their customers and not even compensating them for the fraud they have commiited. Urban Clap boasts about their unprofessional and unethical behaviour very highly stating one bad review will not hamper their business anyway. This is highly uncalled for attitude in cheating and commiting fraud with people at home.

today ( 1.3.17) i recd. mail that my credit amount are zero, and asked my for another charge.
it is a fraud company, always interested to take money from innocent people.
i hv. sent sms to Ritesh Garg on( VP) on 24.2.17, regarding these issue, bu he least bothered to answer me.

The professional was very adamant and was not listening to me even though I told her that the wax is too hot. Instead she kept insisting that she has to use the wax at that temperature.
Later I saw she has peeled some part of my skin and I raised a complaint on 27th december.It is now 4th FEB, Urban clap did not give me a call back and neither did they mail me. So, they simply ignored my complaint.

Upon calling them, they were only apologizing and were absolutely not cooperative.Finally they agreed to provide a complimentary service and after I made the booking they they said they can't provide a service more than 1000.Rest o the amount has to be borne by me.

When I reiterated this wasn't informed before, they did not listen further and kept on dragging the issue.

I had hired services of VRS Party planners available at Urban Clap for decorating the venue for my daughter's first birthday party. Initially I was very reluctant to hire them because their event organiser Mini Aggarwal was too lazy to respond back to calls. But somehow my husband convinced to me talk to them again because he liked the photographs on their face book page. I finally talked to this lady and after listening to all my requirements, she gave me an overshooting budget and she was too reluctant to mellow down a single penny. We didn’t mind the overpriced budget trusting that the services and decor would be as per our expectations. But finally when the D-Day came, the decoration was totally messed up. We had especially told them to finish the decoration before 6 pm, but the decoration went beyond 7PM. Besides small things, like missing birthday cap for birthday girl, the whole decoration had thin balloons decoration, less balloon standies than promised, no gate decoration as promised, no theme based background as said.The work was very degraded and definitely not as we were shown (We were given package on email in excel document with all terms and conditions and photographs shown on their FB page). When we told them that we are not happy with the decor and we will not pay the remaining amount till the end of event, this lady (mini aggarwal) warned us that she will get all the decoration packed up and also told game co-coordinator not to start games. We had no option but to give the entire remaining amount to these pathetic people due to which our party get ruined up and went late. I will definitely not recommend this kind of services and this party planner especially their so called event organiser Mini Aggarwal who is so unprofessional and a cheater. She will fool you with her good words. And at the end will put allegations on you. We have also decided to complain against Mini Aggarwal and VRS party planner because now she is simply refusing to talk about this matter as she has got all her payment in hands. after receiving this complaint, Mini Aggarwal called my husband to apologise for her mistake. But later on, she and another lady from her office called us and accused us for maligning their image for getting money back. She also threatened us to file a defamation case against us.

I would request Urban Clap to remove such fraud companies from their list to prevent others from getting cheated.

I had registered my business as wedding service provider with the urban clap partner and paid 1000rs for a premium account, but later came to know Section I was looking for urban clap does not provide it. as discussed with the executive of wedding section urban clap, they agree to return my refund but later till date did not get anything from their end even after following up and regular mail.
