Service Booked Date: Jan 28th, 2017 -Refrigerator repair service on Urban Clap.
First Visit Date: Technician visited on Jan 31st 2017
Service Requested: Refridgerator was not running.
Description of Incident: Technician reviewed and said the mother board has to be replaced. However, the cost will be around Rs.6000 + service. He said my fridge is a failure model hence procuring the mother board will take a few days and possible to not get the part too.
He then said he will repair the mother board and fix it instead. When asked how long the life would be he said 3-4 yrs after repair.
He insisted on fixing a stabilizer - When asked if it is so necessary as mine has run with an inbuilt one for the last 5yrs, he said the mother board has failed because of fluctuations in power, hence it is necessary.
He quoted Rs.6500 in total. He said he will take the part and come back next day. However, knowing I was ready to pay without any qualms, he fixed the board the same day and called me. It was fitted the next day itself. Stabilizer was fitted the following day. All done the fridge worked for 3-4 days, and again it failed. Then the technician has came and changed some part in the freezer. Again it failed. He came back and changed a sensor. It didnt work. He came back and switched it to the freezer. And finally nothing worked. He left and didnt call back for follow up.
Samsing authorized service center visited us and in 10 mins inspected and informed us that the mother board has gone. It can ONLY be replaced and would cost Rs.13000 and it can not be repaired. He said the technician who came earlier has simply fooled us. A stabilizer also was not required and the one installed was not even a good brand like Vguard and the cost charged was way too much.

I complained to Urban Clap - They asked me to talk to the service center. Service Center guys called and took details. I called back to remind them on the status of refund for the utterly poor and incompetant service. No news from them.

    I would like to book a complain against ACS machinery service, R.T Nagar.

    I have booked a washing machine repair service through Urban clap. I have booked using this phone number [protected] in case you want to verify.

    Techinician from ACS machinery service came, changed electronic board and gave 6 month warranty on it. After 2-3 washing board stopped working. Called them again and again, they did not pick up the call, at last after 15 days picked up the call, took the board again and started ignoring our calls again. Its been 20 days since they took the board still no sign when they will return it.

    We are calling to Mr. Samiulla on his contact number [protected].

    I want Urban clap to take strict actions against him, I recommend deregister this service provider from Urban clap.

      He came just for a day took classes and asked me to pay 4k.. After paying the amount he never turned up to take any classes. Tried reaching out to him but no response. Below is the msg which i got from urban clap after hiring him

        Had hired a a beautician from urban clap- an online portal providing locla home services promising. They have cheated by ending the contract by not turning up for the promised date but taking full money. This is outrageous as the commitment of reliable services made by Urban clap is all a marketing gimmick. They are here to only cheat and make money by misguiding their customers and not even compensating them for the fraud they have commiited. Urban Clap boasts about their unprofessional and unethical behaviour very highly stating one bad review will not hamper their business anyway. This is highly uncalled for attitude in cheating and commiting fraud with people at home.

          i hv. opened my profile( as a interior contractor), after charged Rs. 500.00 on Feb/17.
          they hv. deactivated my profile without given any valid reason
          .I hv. charged Rs. 500.00
          today ( 1.3.17) i recd. mail that my credit amount are zero, and asked my for another charge.
          it is a fraud company, always interested to take money from innocent people.
          i hv. sent sms to Ritesh Garg on( VP) on 24.2.17, regarding these issue, bu he least bothered to answer me.
          so request to innocent people not to join in the fraud company.ds,

            The professional was very adamant and was not listening to me even though I told her that the wax is too hot. Instead she kept insisting that she has to use the wax at that temperature.
            Later I saw she has peeled some part of my skin and I raised a complaint on 27th december.It is now 4th FEB, Urban clap did not give me a call back and neither did they mail me. So, they simply ignored my complaint.

            Upon calling them, they were only apologizing and were absolutely not cooperative.Finally they agreed to provide a complimentary service and after I made the booking they they said they can't provide a service more than 1000.Rest o the amount has to be borne by me.

            When I reiterated this wasn't informed before, they did not listen further and kept on dragging the issue.
            I took a service from urbanclap on 11.04.2017. The beautician used extremely hot wax on my skin even though I told her a hundred times that the wax is really hot . Not only that, she was so harsh with my skin that I was left with a burn mark just above my upper lip. I called up urbanclap the next day and told them everything about my disappointing experience. I even dropped them a mail of my face clearly showing the burn mark but it's been almost two weeks and I still haven't got any call from them.

            I even dropped them a mail complaining that I didn't get any call to talk about the matter to which they very conveniently replied that my number was not reachable.

            I'm really frustrated with the kind of response I have been getting from them.

              I had hired services of VRS Party planners available at Urban Clap for decorating the venue for my daughter's first birthday party. Initially I was very reluctant to hire them because their event organiser Mini Aggarwal was too lazy to respond back to calls. But somehow my husband convinced to me talk to them again because he liked the photographs on their face book page. I finally talked to this lady and after listening to all my requirements, she gave me an overshooting budget and she was too reluctant to mellow down a single penny. We didn’t mind the overpriced budget trusting that the services and decor would be as per our expectations. But finally when the D-Day came, the decoration was totally messed up. We had especially told them to finish the decoration before 6 pm, but the decoration went beyond 7PM. Besides small things, like missing birthday cap for birthday girl, the whole decoration had thin balloons decoration, less balloon standies than promised, no gate decoration as promised, no theme based background as said.The work was very degraded and definitely not as we were shown (We were given package on email in excel document with all terms and conditions and photographs shown on their FB page). When we told them that we are not happy with the decor and we will not pay the remaining amount till the end of event, this lady (mini aggarwal) warned us that she will get all the decoration packed up and also told game co-coordinator not to start games. We had no option but to give the entire remaining amount to these pathetic people due to which our party get ruined up and went late. I will definitely not recommend this kind of services and this party planner especially their so called event organiser Mini Aggarwal who is so unprofessional and a cheater. She will fool you with her good words. And at the end will put allegations on you. We have also decided to complain against Mini Aggarwal and VRS party planner because now she is simply refusing to talk about this matter as she has got all her payment in hands. A BIG NO FOR VRS PARTY PLANNERS

              after receiving this complaint, Mini Aggarwal called my husband to apologise for her mistake. But later on, she and another lady from her office called us and accused us for maligning their image for getting money back. She also threatened us to file a defamation case against us.

              I would request Urban Clap to remove such fraud companies from their list to prevent others from getting cheated.

                I had registered my business as wedding service provider with the urban clap partner and paid 1000rs for a premium account, but later came to know Section I was looking for urban clap does not provide it. as discussed with the executive of wedding section urban clap, they agree to return my refund but later till date did not get anything from their end even after following up and regular mail.

                  I had called an interior designer from urban clap. This lady took the cheque from us in personal name saying that it is just a security and once the contract is ready she will return this and take a new cheque. Before she even drafted the contract she got it encashed and on asking says this way you can avoid service tax. Further she said she generally tells her clients to give either cash or cheque in personal name to avoid service tax. After waiting for a month she was not ready with any designs and when complaint to urban clap they instead of getting me a refund write to me that I was at fault as I kept demanding for more. Even after giving them all proofs they want to side their service provider. It is very clear that they get along with their service provider and cheat them this way by taking money by fraud.

                    I got burnt on face while having facial with your professional.
                    Hot steam was leaked from the steam maching and it went into my ear and side part of ear and some part of forehead and my hair got burnt.

                    Now pus is been formed.

                    I was shocked to have such an ignorant service.

                    I am not going to use urban clap again and will not recommend anyone.

                    Think of the masaccre it would have caused if steam would have leaked in my eyes or face front.

                      I have booked the service on 14th oct 2016 for repairing my refrigerator, they told me that it need to fill the gas. And they fill the gas and i paid rs 1950. And than what happen is that the next day my refrigerator stop working. So i call the same guy from urban clap as he have given me his number. He check the refrigerator and now he inform
                      Compressor is damage and i need to change it by paying rs 4000 which is completely non sense. My refrigerator was working very find accept the gas need to be fill. Finely i came to know the guy has done something wrong on the day he was filling the gas. So i had a very bad experience with urban clap.

                        This is in regards with the service booking I made on 18th September for washing machine repair. I had clearly told the professional about the problem which was the machine was not able to sense the water inputs/timings. Still the professional said, their is no issue with pressure sensor but the board and it would cost me around 2k. He took the board along and left to come back after 2 days with repaired board. I had clearly told him about the timings I will be available but tuesday morning, I received an update from him that he cannot come in those hours. I spoke to customer care about this since he didn't show up till next 2 days and got a response that they would come next day. The repair didn't work and it was exactly the same as before. Then the professional along with some other person opened all machine parts and had cut the wires, tried to knot it with something else. They couldn't test their experiment as the power went off and so asked me if they could take all the wiring and other parts along. Since I have already had this experience with them, I asked them to first come and test properly and be sure of what has to be fixed and then take the part. To which they agreed and left promising to come back after 2 days I. E Saturday to check.
                        Again, history repeated and he didn't show up. In fact urban clap never bothered to check that washing machine repair took more than a week.
                        Hence, I called them and enquired but got the answer that he will be reporting next day and again 1week passed by but the person didn't come and we call them professionals. Neither the people who fix nor people who work at UrbanClap are professionals. Finally, even after taking it to social networking twice n multiple calls, I was asked that the person will be available now as he was not well earlier. I mean we understand that someone can fall sick but does the work stop here, we also work and if we fall sick, company doesn't tell the client that we are sorry as the person is on leave. It's an obvious thing that some other professional should be assigned the task. Why should customers and hence the business suffer??
                        Anyways, finally I asked them that I don't want this professional as he was very confused about what was to be done and had already cut the wires and I didnot want to get my machine in more worse situation. To this UrbanClap explained that they would raise new request and get the different professional. The professional came and took all the parts away I. E board, pressure sensor, n wiring kit and promised to come back next day evening. He had to call me for the estimate updates and since I dint get the call back, I called him and couldn't reach. Tried through customer care and then got to know someone expired in his family. I don't know if all this true as going by the response o[censored]rbanClap each time, your people appear fraud. Anyway, he did tell me the estimates which was 250-service charges, 750-pressure sensor, 850-wiring kit. I said it very clearly to urban clap that I will not pay for wiring or service charges. After a long argument the customer care representative agreed as the professional himself admitted that the previous professional had cut the wires in a bad way which caused it to short-circuit. If it was tried 1 more time, whole IC would have been in trouble. The professional was to come by evening but did not come. Now, again when I tried reaching him after 1day, he is not receiving my calls and I received a call from UrbanClap saying the board also needs repair now, in fact they might replace it if repair doesnot work.

                        So basically after 20days if struggle, you people are trying to get the money by cheap methods. Till 2 days, board was perfectly fine and after the professional gave estimates of fixes, suddenly board stopped working?? Do you I am fool to believe this?? It is very convenient for you guys to take the parts away and then demand whatever money as we cannot see as to what are you doing. You people have the potential to make home services also fraud. We are fools to trust and do multiple follow ups and you people just keep on testing our patience. You can cut the wires, cause the damage to parts so that if we go to some other services, we need to pay more than needed. In these 20 days I never saw any of the professional taking the work seriously and if you think you can go off this easily, then you are mistaken. I am gonna drag you guys to the court and will surely let it come out in public that you people are frauds and infact theives, who take the parts alongwith them promising to fix issues but actually don't receive calls post that. I want everything back to what it was and I will make sure you do that, be it by taking legal action against you.

                          We hired a professional from urban clap for washing machine repair. The machine was displaying pe error (Power error). The guy came for inspection of washing machine said the motherboard of washing machine has gone and needs to be replaced. It will cost you guys 2800 rs. We gave him the money and he repaired the machine. After 9 days of repair, the machine started showing le error. We called the guy who came to fix the machine, he keep on delaying and after around 25 days he came and said that this error is because of door issue and door knob needs to be replaced which we cost 800 rs. But then the guy never showed up. Keep on giving excuses that he is busy. So i end up calling another professional to repair the machine. On inspection, he said that the issue is in mother board itself. It needs to be replaced again. When we tried calling the guy who first replaced the motherboard to complain for the faulty mother board, he said that he is out of town and don't know when he will return (Clearly an excuse).                             We have got rishi packers and movers details from urban clap. We saw the reviews there, seems its is all fake. The reviews are fake, the services provided by rishi packers and movers is worst, while moving from delhi to hyderabad, they have damaged all our wooden furnitures and later threatened us to give them they service money else they will keep our car which was on its way.
                            Happy with Rishi Packers And Movers
                            Shifting from one city to another city is not an easy job since movers & packers is not an organised sector. I had used several packers & movers in past but never been satisfied. Always I had received my goods in a damage condition.

                            This time I have to shift my household goods and my swift car from Delhi to Hydrabad and I was looking for a reliable packers & movers. Than one of my office friend had recommend me to try "Rishi Packers & Movers Pvt. Ltd.". I went through there website, filled an online quotation form. After some time I had received a call from there Relocation Manager. He answer my all query. Same day one of there surveyor had visited my place, survey my entire household goods and gave me a competitive quotation. Based on my friend recommendation and there goods reviews I had booked my consignment with "Rishi Packers & Movers Pvt. Ltd."

                            There 6 members of packing team arrived on given date and time and they completed the packing on time. There packing was superb. They packed my entire stuff nicely and loaded into a container. Same day they picked my car as well. They handover Insurance paper and other documents. As per promised they delivered my goods and my car on committed days. My entire household goods & my car delivered to me safely without any damage or loss.

                            Based on my previous experience I would recommend "Rishi Packers & Movers Pvt. Ltd." to everyone.

                              Urban clap is a fake company trying to make money by cheating people.

                              This company is a special one so far as i have noticed... They block the mail they we could not send them mail when they are stuck in solving issues...

                              I request company to keep qualified trained staff as ur staff seems to be illiterate. As they are trying to neglect people.

                                Heart breaking and highly disappointing services by #urbanclap and #mplustech. Here're the problems:

                                - zero control over vendor (#mplustech maintenence services ovt. Ltd), who straight way bluffed and lied about his incompetency to avoid his expenses of correcting the problem caused due to disastrous work of his engineers

                                - huge variation in how #urbanclap representatives handle the customer's problem. The last person i talked to was extremely biased to vendor as if he was sitting in their office and totally try to shunt me out of case and pushed me to bear the expenses for engineer's mistake.

                                - no accountability to resolve, as #urbanclap staff promised callback and the technician's visit but none of this happened

                                - threatened to disconnect the my call and to not help me simply because i was victimised by their lack of support - waiting for entire week to get my equipment fixed but no support at all.

                                Tuesday - 19-july-2016
                                I booked wet service of two of my window acs at home on tuesday 19-july-16 (Didn't know if that will be the beginning of my pain to fix a problem for which i am not responsbile). Both my acs were giving cool air (Working properly) for over 6 years, also went through annual services in past but never had an issue. We just checked the acs after service on tuesday for nearly a minute and i switched it off as the air was cool. My family turned on that ac in the evening and found that the air isn't cool despite the compressor was running. We called #mplustech and the technicians arrived the next day to check the issue

                                Wednesday - 20-july-2016
                                #mplustech engineers with their half baked skills told me that the gas has been leaked and agreed that there must have something happened while servicing (E. G. Some pipe must have got disturbed / displaced etc.). Both the technicians went back and there was no response from that vendor.

                                Thursday - 21-july-2016
                                I called the owner of #mplustech and explained my problem. He started shouting on me and tried to cover his technician's mistake by saying that he can refund service fee for one of the acs. I expressed that the cost of refilling the gas is nearly rs. 2000 and i will certainly not bear that as there's no mistake from my end. He asked me to do whatever i want but their team will not fill the gas without full payment.
                                Same day i called #urbanclap and the representative was helpful enough to take control and promised to help me (Customer). Then she put the vendor on conference with me and talked even to #mplustech engineer (Brijesh) who admitted that he will fix my ac on friday - july 22.

                                Friday - 22 july 2016
                                No call from vendor. Just one call from #urbanclap asking for the time when the technician can visit to fix the problem. The promised time was 5 pm the same day. No body appeared. And no one from #urbanclap followed up after 5 pm on friday.

                                Sunday 24-july-2016 (Clearly after a wait of nearly the whole week)
                                I called #urbanclap to check the latest update and that escalation executive (That's what he called himself) kartik promised a call back in 30 minutes. When he called in 40 minutes, he started taking vendor's side and believed his bluff. I demanded him to loop the vendor on that call. After joining the conference, the vendor straightway lied to kartik and said that my ac was not working before the service (It clearly doesn't make any sense as the same person agreed on previous calls about proper functioning of my acs before service). Kartik kept his tone to negate my request and mentioned there are several issues like these when gas gets leaked and there's nothing the customer can do. This further pissed me off and i started pointing out his error - that before the service my ac was working fine, after the service my ac is not working fine. Issue is gas leakage so #urbanclap needs to fix that (Either through that or any other vendor). I guess this issue won't go anywhere especially after i wasted so much of my time and energy chasing this incompetent group called #urbanclap. Still if there's someone who has some level of control should have some courage to pick up the phone and talk to me. Otherwise my urge to people is to stop getting lured to these fancy startups with flashy apps and websites with no degree of control over their vendors and no sense of customer experience. #urbanclap happened to be one big example.

                                Customer focused companies are even supporting the overly demanding customers but i simply requested #urbanclap to resolve a problem that was created by their own vendors and there was not contribution from my side.

                                With no hope, and much dissatisfaction, i am an example of customer (Or should i say a victim) who made the biggest mistake of calling #urbanclap to service my acs. I really regret why i didn't call a local ac service agent who could be far more responsible than #urbanclap and #mplustech.

                                  I chose for refrigerator repair from Urban clap . Some one from a Bgarde service agency named as Repair solution was sent, i was charged Rs2000 for gas filling and some kind of kit he told, and just in a week my fridge was again in not working conditions. After making complain to urban clap they connected to that bgrade Repair solution where they ensured to come and do the repair, but all big time Golibaaj, abhi aa raha hoon, aaj ho jayega and all and after 7 30 number not reachable. Urban clap has no hold at all, they were not aware even neither bothered, next day urban clap called me and were saying that they have got the upadation that my fridge has got repaired, i mean WTF, after insisting and informing that no one has came yesterday, they again have rescheduled the visit from that Repair Solution . And the same thing is reapating again, the guy was coming at 1pm, then 100 % at 4 30 and then God swear at 6 pm. What the hell . Its like dealing with some road side agencies . Never again i am gonna use Urban clap, havent seen any online service agency with such a poor management .

                                    I have opted for Movers and packers service of H2H Movers and Packers thru Urbanclap.com. Since this is a trusted brand, I thought the service providers here would be trusted and verified.
                                    I have received all my goods in 100% damaged condition for which I was following up with h2h and urclap since April end but with no resolution. And now I have received a reply from one o[censored]rbanclap executives that they are just service providers and whatever followup they have done, its not there work (infact they have not done a single followup. If I used to call urbanclap then only they use to answer my calls. I have not received even a single call or followup from there side).
                                    I am attaching herewith the copy of mail and some images of my goods.
                                    I am very disappointed with the kind of service providers registered with urbanclap and secondly irresponsible attitude o[censored]rbanclap. I have yet not received the discussed claim from h2h/urbanclap (since the loss was huge, h2h and urbanclap has given me the option of carpenter service for my goods, which I also agreed (for wooden furniture). They have not given any resolution for my washing machine and fridge damage. But for this carpenter thing too am following up like hell but with resolution.

                                      Hi team,
                                      I had booked a tv repair service from your portal and hi-tech solutions was assigned the job.
                                      Mr. Manjunatha sent mr. Kiran kumar to attend the call and had tak the tv on 23rd march.
                                      Since then i had to repeatedly chase the service centre for the status of the tv,
                                      First they quoted 12500 to replace, i confirmed the job and asked them to replace the panel, but to my surprise since last 10 days
                                      1) no answer
                                      2) part not available in bangalore
                                      3) can not order part from anywhere else
                                      4) the company panasonic has offers 4000 rupees, why don't you sell
                                      5) on asking to return the tv, further manjunath is pushing to sell the tv and still the tv is with hi-tech solutions.

                                      I am amazed at how does urban lap keep such service provides who are just here to just cheat the customers.
