[Resolved]  V-Guard Industries — fire accident at home from vg 400 stabilizer, damaging property & life threat

I am writing this to you, with great dissatisfaction and anger that one of your best selling product VG 400 stabilizer, under warranty, that I am using for the 1.5 ton AC has caught fire in the middle of the night and damaged the balcony, where it was fitted outside. We had luckily averted potential major Fire accident as we were able to put out the fire immediately, and cut off the mains power, coming to the flat.

This incident took place at around 11 pm on 24th March, 2020 (Tuesday). Since unfortunately, with the 21-day lockdown issued by Govt of India effective from 24th midnight, we couldn't get any electrician come in person to evaluate the cause of the fire. Only today, on 26th March 2020, we have got an electrician check the power supply to the house, and power supply line into the stabilizer and they are working fine, with no damage to the house electrical wiring.

Since the stabilizer was purchased from a local shop, in Bangalore, in April 2017, presently unable to locate the Warranty card and invoice of the VG 400 stabilizer. But we have the Serial Number of the Product intact and attaching them for reference.

I demand a strict enquiry from your technical team to evaluate the cause of the Failure in the Stabilizer and also provide necessary compensation due to damages & threat to life from the Fire accident.

Dear Team

Its been months i have put on the complain with V guard customer care and query has not been resolved. Due to the lockdown the complain got unheard and no serious action has been taken.Please search my complain from my register number-[protected].
Complain number [protected] 20 march and [protected] 25 may.
3 month no sliution. No call received from local v guard servuce people. Executive named arvind is rude non coperative.

This is the 4th or 5th time i have put in my complain.

I bought the Stablizer last year in the month of June and after few months the Stablizer got burnt out in the middle of night. Due to God grace, nothing serious happened and we escaped massive fire.
We register our complain and the company replaced the stabliser.

Now again in the month of March, in the afternoon Stablizer got burnt out again and my mother was alone at home.
Some how due to the help of neighbour, the fire go controlled and main supply was turned off.

So in a span of 8 months, twice the stablizer got burnt out.
Everytyme the technician comes he writes a complain to change it.

Is it some kind of a joke going on in such a reputed company.
Are u people playing with our hard earn money.
Is it the product quality we offer to customers.
Dont u people understand the risk i have faced when the stabliser got burnt out.
Since 2 months, my home is without stablizer and my Television and Fridge has to be repaired due to unavailibility of stabiliser.
Who is goin to bear its cost.
Who is goin to pay me expenses for it.
I have spent 9000 last year for such third class insensitive company product which has put in my life my home at risk.

Are we waiting for any calamity to happen, then only a step will be taken.

I am fed up with v guard.
I do not wish to continue your product.
I need a refund of my money.
I am a highly dissatisfied customer.
I will not recommend V guard to people.
It is so risky and you people do not understand its sensitivvity.

Every time i speak to customer care executive,
They do not understand and continue their script language.They do not understand customer complain seriousness and always give a timeline of 48 hour.
Even the technician has visited my place twice and thrice but when it comes my money refund.
You people are fooling innocent customers.
No one has any authorty to take any decision and do not understand problems.

I need Resolition of my problem.
I need my money back.
I do not wish to continue with such risky defective company product .
For me V guard has zero brand value and if things are not put in right order,
I will be forced to take some serious step.
We talk about Customer Service and you people are harrassing your customer.
If my complain is unresolved i will escalate to every possible forum for justice to happen.
