Attaching mail details which I sent to Veena world. and they were least bothered.
Hello Sir/Madam,
This mail is regarding inconvenience caused while our honeymoon tour.
Some of my friends had told me lots of good things about Veena world and hence I opted for it for my honeymoon. But this tour was totally disappointing.
below are some issues I faced during my journey with you.
1. PSP has given me wrong information while selecting my tour package.( pick up point & complementary things like bed decoration etc)
Veena PSP had promised me 3 star hotels.
2. Shimla hotel ( Dreamview )was almost 15 km away from actual Shimla city. it caused too much fatigue while traveling.
And this hotel was almost like a lodge. Such accommodation you can easily get in 700-800 rs in hills stations like matheran mahabaleshwar.
Rooms were so small & and highly unpleasant. Washroom size was hardly 4 × 5 sq feet, which includes toilet comode as well.
we also faced issues in food services. Hotel denied a simple request of omlate bread at 9 .pm.
I had conveyed my concerns to tour manager (Swapnil Sawant ) and requested to provide good accommodation in manali atleast.
3.But same story was repeated in Manali. Hotel Sarthak was again far away from main manali market. (we had paid 1000 rs everyday to taxi as we wanted to spend our free time in actual manali, and not in outs curd of Manali.
Room arrangement was so useless, that group tour people were allotted valley view rooms. and all honeymoon couples had got road facing roomd, where there was enough disturbance because of vehicle noise and cattle humming.
Rooms lock were faulty, cupboard door was broken, charging plugs were burned. still tour manager did not provide me another room.
And on name of bed decor hotel provided very low quality decor ( it was paid by me).
hotel which could not provide me even a simple accessories like wine glasses.
4. Tour manager was so unresponsive that he could not resolve a single problem faced by us. May it be room condition or bed decoration.
5. Even group activates arranged was also not effective.
there were only 3 of it only
antakshari: it was good.
folk dance: it was ok
Dj: I still dont understand, why it was called DJ.
we were dancing in hotel basement, which was under construction. and music was operated using single speaker and mobile phone.
we ( multiple couples) conveyed our issues to our tour manager.
we also called emergency contact number and spoke to Mandar several times.
but nobody responded positively.
So all in all what I want to informed you that is you guys have screwed my honeymoon.
and made it memorable for all bad reasons. I was feeling ashamed when my family was asking for room pics on watsup.
I was planing to have one thailand tour with Veena world. But I dont think that I would do it. And even I wont suggests Veena worlds to anybody henceforth.
And please do respond to my mail and provide me reasons for such a huge mess. and also provide me contact details of this tour planner.
I want to talk to him & know what was difference in your honeymoon tour an group tour. and what was criteria for selecting such pathetic hotels for honeymoon couples
