[Resolved] Videocon D2H — Not attending to Set top box hardware/software issue | |||||
The set top box stopped working saying a "software upgrade" is in progress. This happened on 2:15AM Thursday. The Television was switched on till 5AM but there was no progress. The same day we called the Videocon helpline and they asked us to wait for 2-3 hours more. We called them again @ around 5:30 PM Thursday and they took down our complaint and gave us the complaint no. which is 42909280. My customer id is[protected]. They requested us to wait till 11AM Friday and promised us that they would send the Engineer. The engineer called us @ 10:30 AM friday morning and took down the directions of our locality but failed to come. The name of the engineer is Ravi ( mobile no [protected]). When I called him @ around 2:30 PM same day he told me that " Software issue will get rectified by itself". I am sick of this nonsensical services and laid back attitude.
