VIDEOCON AC VWM-2644 — SERVICE

I have purchased one window ac model no VWM-2644(.75 T) FROM NEXT RETAIL SHOP Jail road new Delhi on 26thJuly.The AC was installed by the next mechanic and was told that this ac is defective and its panel is not working. We will ask the company to replace it as early as possible I also register a complaint and a mechanic from your company came and told me this panel will be replaced within two days . But today is 7th August 7, 2008 nobody came and even they have no courtesy to inform me. I have already send 3 reminders but of no use. My complaint no is 5A[protected]

I am Amit Shanbaug, a consumer of your Videocon double door refrigerater. My experience with both the appliances as well as the after service has left a bad taste.

We purchased the appliance on 28th of March 2008 from the NEXT retail showroom at Sion. My problems started the day we purchased it. The service centre took more than a month to get the product installed. It was lying at my house in the box pack for that period. Every time we would call, the rep would inform us that the engineer would come to our house the very next day. Finally, it was only installed, when we personally went to the showroom and demanded our money back.

According to the warranty card the product has a six year warrenty period on compressor and 12 months on the refrigerator. On 16th June 2009, that is nearly 14 months of buying it, the product started giving us problems and stopped working. We called the service centre ( Reference no: MUM[protected]) and the representative came to our place on the 23rd of June, we were informed that the compresser needs repairs for the cooling to take place. We were told by the representative that it would cost us Rs 1400/- for the repairs. When we asked the representative if it is not covered by the warrenty period, we were informed that the cost is towards towing the product to the service station and filling gas. He told me that the repairs would be free, but i would have to pay the money for the gas charges.

They took in near 26 days to repair the product and on delivery i found out that the light bulb inside the refrigerator was not working. I refused to pay the balance repair amount and so the next day a representative was send again to collect the money and repair the bulb. I was also told that though not mentioned, the compressor would have a six month garauntee and if anything goes wrong, it would be repaired free of cost.

The product stopped working in less than 2 months. I registered a complaint ( Reference: MUM[protected]) with the service centre. The engineer who attended it insists that we pay Rs 550 again as there is some problem with the cooling. I fail to understand that when it is under warrenty, why is the company charging. It would have been better if i had got in a cheap refrigerator from the flea market if i knew i would have so much problem with the branded one. At least the repair charges would have been justified then.

I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE ANSWER
So we are mailling you If we will not get anytype of answer from yours side then at the top we will write the letter and inform that please send the message to all of the person not to use the videocon washing machine.

If we are paying 9300=00 and getting this type of trouble then we are not happy with this brand,
As in the market we have listen that videocon products is ok but the service and profomance is not good in the market, the person in the market is telling to take LG, WHIRLPHOOL, IFB, SAMSUNG, GORREJ, ETC... ARE MORE better than Videocon,

We very sorry to bring your your notice that we have purchased videocon washing mc from Jain Electronics Bina ProjectSonbhadra UP and the same creating too much problem now.As we have blind faith on Vediocon products and without hesitation we used to buy but due to this we think that it will lead to short fall to your credit in market.

We not usde to get service centre no. and no address.

The problem this m/c, getting issues like drain leakage and spining tub in not working.. M/c stopped suddenly..

We try to reach your service team many times but did no one has visited from last one and half year and the dealer used to say that we had broken the tie up from vediocon and not selling any product now.The dealer behaving so rudely that it likes we forced to buy from him only or no oher can avail the ssales & ervices of Vediocon.Kindly request to keep tie with good dealers who can help customers to resolve issues instead of creating issues.

Today my washing machine is creating much problem also we not able to take to this any local repair shop as we have only trust on Vediocon Service centre.

If your service team is not able to provide the permanent solutions Kindly request you to just say that we can do nothing or we cannot provide service in that area,

Videocon Washing Machine — Technical Fault in the warranty period

I have purchased the aforesaid product around 10 months back from S. K. Electronics, Air Force Station, Bareilly (UP). For the last 3-4 months there is some technical fault causing problems in operation of the same. The complaint has three times been lodged with the dealer and twice with the company but no action has been taken so far. The dealer on calling now uses very rough language as if he is not concerned with the after sales affairs.
Please help so that the faith of consumers may remain in the Indian products.

Many of the consumer durables that we use are from VIDEOCON. As they have not given any trouble we were very happy and recommended the same to many.

Now that some of them like the washing machine which we use regularly started giving trouble, we wanted it to be repaired and serviced only by the qualified and company appointed technicians.

My Father loged complaint on[protected] with service number [protected]. After few days a person called chandu came, checked and told the problem is with the water tub and took 250/- from my dad. After that there is no updates from your service. Every day My Father will make call to them and get assurance that problem will be solved today but that "today" has never come till date.

I sincerely hope that you will take up this matter and direct your authorised service center people to help me out and do the needful.

You have to deposit cash sum of Rs. 10, 700/- ( Ten Thousand Seven Hundred Rupees )as an initial amount in favor of Company HRD. Department. Deposit should be made through the bank details which will be given to you when you contact us for account details. This is a refundable interview security deposit. Your call letter and Air tickets/Train Ticket will be sent to your Home Address by courier service after receiving the confirmation of interview security deposited in Bank. This Company will pay all the expenditure to you at the time of face-to-face meeting with you in our Company. The Job profile and final salary offer will be discus during the interview also. Your call letter will dispatch very shortly after receiving your confirmation of cash deposited in Bank account which will be send to you upon your responds.







We wish you the best of luck for the subsequent and remaining stage. The last date of security deposited in the bank is 11th of December 2010. You have to send the information after depositing the security amount in bank to the Company's HRD - direct recruitment via email. Your Letter with supporting document will be dispatch same time by courier to your postal address after receipt of security deposited confirmation in bank. The interview process and arrangement expenditure will be paid by VIDEOCON. Lodging, traveling and local conveyance actual will be paid by VIDEOCON as per bills. The candidate has to deposit the initial refundable security as mentioned by HRD.



NB: You are advice to reconfirm your mailing address and phone number in your reply. and 10, 500/- ( Ten thousand Five Hundred rupees ) will be the refundable amount, while 200 rupees will be deducted as bank charges for funds deposit and if you have been selected or not, still the amount will be refunded to you, as the amount is just to prove that you will be coming for the interview in order for us not to run at lost after sending you the Air Ticket/Train Ticket and you don't show up for the interview.

Videocon Washing Machine — Old Machine supplied

I bought on down cash a Videocon fully automatic washing machine on Diwali day 17th Oct 2009 from Yash Electronics, Airoli, New Bombay.
The order was placed after inspecting a machine exhibited at the showroom, but I specifically told them not to deliver that machine and want a new untouched (sealed pack) machine. But to my suprprise, the same machine with full of scratches and dirty knobs and old look machine was supplied to me. In good faith I acknowledged receipt of the delivery challan.
When asked for the warranty card the dealer said I will have to collect from them after one week. When I requested them to replace with another machine, they did not do so. This is an absolute breach of trust, breach of contract case.
If anyone can help me in this matter, it is most welcome.
