I had subscribed for sony happy india south football pack in my videocon d2h connection having customer id[protected], but out of 10 channels, i'm getting only 8 channels even after paying for 10. When i contacted their customer care, i was told i was supposed to get 10 channels but they don't know why i was not getting the channels...
When i asked them how to resolve the issue, they told me that they'll send a technician & for that i'll have to pay rs. 200 as charges. Now i don't understand why should i pay the penalty for their issues. My set top box & tv doesn't have any faults. Whatever the issue, it's in their faulty software.
I can't seem to understand what the technician would be going to do. Would he come & pull out those unwilling channels which maybe hiding somewhere behind the set top box or the tv...
But is it real incompetency on their part or is it some cheap ploy to extort money from the consumer... First block some channels & then make them pay to get those. It's a clear case o[censored]nfair trade practices.
