Subject: Channels not getting activated as per new trai rule - Very poor customer service of Videocon d2h (My Videocon ID is[protected]
Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your notice that even after several complaints to customer care and several phone calls to their customer service numbers. I am not able to change my channel package as per my requirement.
I have tried to select channels as per new trai rules, on the website as well as on app d2h infinity, but the selection is not getting registered/activated. I have tried several times since the last several days, but whenever I submit my selection one dialogue box appears, saying the following :
"Thank you your selection has been registered and we will get back to you soon", but there is no action and my package is not migrated.
Further, when I view my plan online it shows channels which I have never selected, and total monthly charges are shown as approx.Rs.320, while my selection total cost comes to approx Rs. 165, after adding ncf & gst. I am not able to exercise my choice of channels as per the new trai requirement. This is totally against the new regulation of trai, whereby consumer has the right to select the channels as per the choice. I, therefore, request you to take appropriate action so that my desired channels are activated and unnecessary channels are removed. In this regard, I have contacted customer care on phone also several times, in last many days but no solution is provided by them except saying that "these 100 channels are mandetory you can't remove these channel and disconnect the phone call)." Some of the channel they are providing me are tamil, oriya and other languages channel. For how long can one wait and how many times I have to call? Every month i recharge with 200 but they stop my services in 15 days, but is getting exhausted very fast due to extra monthly charge owing to activation o[censored]nnecessary channels by Videocon d2h.
I have tried to contact the Nodal office also, but the phone is not picked up, and when I write mail on the mail address provided on their website, postmaster mail comes back saying that the mail was not delivered.
