Vistara Air — stopped from boarding and squeezed extra money for tickets | |||
Checked online for vistara flight uk977 delhi mumbai on 20th oct. Arrived on said time as per online checkin boarding pass. When tried to checkin luggage i was asked to half my baggage and rest take as hand luggage as there luggage quotr seemed to be over limit. Some more staff pooled in sweet talked delayed me at the airport and then suddenly asked me to board next flight with the baggage also forced me to pay 2000 inr. All was done in the preyext of helping me and accomadating me as a good gesture. Next flight was after 2 more hours and was further delayed by one more hour. My guest who i was supposed to meet in mumbai already left for dubai and i lost a great deal of business because of the vistara staff. On writing to customer complaint i got a dissappointing response pointing all fingers at me and saying i checked in 5 minutes late add per the staff report. If i was late why would your staff ask me to board with hand luggage and why would they initiate procedure of boarding and stop after wards. Why would the counter be open and i saw other passengers still boarding. This is cheating and consumer violation when i have a paid ticket why am i suppose to pay more and board a delayed flight. I demand immediate full refund of my ticket for my lost business and time Was this information helpful? | |||
