Vistara Airlines — Boarding denied | |||
We three travelers, supposed to fly from del to bhubaneswar by vistara flight at 6.40 am. We reached airport, well in advance. As we were new to the t3 terminal in delhi, we stood in the line with our on line boarding pass in hand to drop our luggage at the counter. But as the time is drawing near, no air line staff called for priority checking. Normally all airlines do so. We got the chance to drop the baggage, by then it was 6.10am, they denied that baggage belt stopped and they can not accept the luggage. We advised them to send luggage by next flight. Persons at the counter bluntly say no. We argued why were we not given priority checking. No answer. This the trick airlines play for make money with out carrying the passengers. As were standing in line, it is the responsibility of the airlines to get us boarded the flight. Air line measurably failed here. We asked what about the refund. They said no refund is permissible, as we reported late. No body there to listen. Assistance is zero at delhi international airport by vistara. Vistara staff at counters did not know much about rules. Confusing advises given by different people. One advised to come once again two hours prior departure of next flight, ie.in the evening, if seats available the can give another ticket by charging rs.2000 per person as penalty. When we spoke another person, he said, it is invalid now a the case of "no show up". No one there to advise. So ask airline to refund the amount as per refund rules.
