Vistara — Non return of Manual Diary( detachable Power Bank) taken out by Vistara staff at Mumbai Airport

Bag Tag No. 0 228 UK 248913 dt. 3.11.2022

Flight No. UK-271 Departure 11.30 a.m. on 3.11.22 from BOM

Brief particulars:

I handed over my bag to Vistara Airlines on 3.11.2022 around 7.35 a.m at their ticket counter.

After I boarded aircraft, Airvistara staff ( Mr. Phalgun and Mr. Dylyn) came in aircraft at 11.25 a.m. and informed me that some objectionable electronic item(power bank) is found in my bag. - this Power Bank was kept in Manual Diary and was detachable from the Diary.

Since bag contained objectionable item, my bag can not be loaded in the aircraft.

However, they suggested that their staff can take out objectionable item from the bag and the bag will be sent by the next flight( as present flight can not be delayed to pull out the item from the bag). Accordingly, I had authorized Airvistara staff to open the Bag and remove the Power Bank .

When I received my Bag ( thanks for the same) next day on 4.11.2022 at Male Airport – I found Power Bank and Manual Diary were missing. It seems inadvertently they did not detach power bank from the Manual diary and removed Powerbank + Manual Diary from the Bag. Even my daughter hemal bhavsar from her email id -( bhavsar.[protected]@yahoo.co.in)emailed to you immediately on 5.11.2022 which remained un responded till date. ( almost 7 days passed)

While I contacted Lost and Found Property Department they told me to contact respective Airlines - Airvistara - since it is checked in baggage.

I would therefore request you to look in to it and return the Manual Diary which is non-electronic item.
