I recently travelled with my 6 years old son via Air Vistara from Dubai to Mumbai and return.
I made individual booking and hence was not able to avail the half ticket for my son as the website did not permit the same.
Further, I had a horrible experience with a customer service executive by the name Manjusha. I was on an international call for 30 minutes and at the end of it she did not provide any solution. She had no clue about the process at Vistara. When asked to transfer the call to a senior she conveniently disconnected the call. Further, I did call back again and she picked up the call and disconnected again. I am surprised that a professional organization like Vistara can provide such service. My request to you is to ensure that such employees are reprimanded.
Issue:
Initially I was planning to travel alone from Dubai to Mumbai and hence booked my ticket. Later on. I had a change of mind and decided to book the ticket for my child as well. However, the Vistara website does not allow booking of only child tickets nor does it permit to modify my ticket to include my child ticket. Due to this, I had called up at the call center hoping to get some assistance. However, the service provided was pathetic. Due to this unprofessional service, I was forced to book my child ticket as an adult ticket (as instructed by the staff). I would request you to return the difference in child fare and adult fare to me at the earliest.
