I am writing to raise a complaint regarding my vento highline petrol vehicle. I had purchase the car in the month of april 2017 at downtown mumbai showroom and within 4 months i started facing issues with the acceleration of the car. I raised the issue with the downtown service dealer and they responded back that the issue is with the clutch plates.
They are not willing to replace the clutch plates under warranty and state that it has been worn off due to wear & tear.
I have used the car for only 4 months and driven it just 2200 kms. I do not understand the reason for not covering it under warranty. How can the clutch plates are damaged just under 2200 kms o[censored]sage? And how this is my fault?
When enquired with the downtown service manager, he said that volkswagen clutch plates are sensitive and hence have been damaged in such a short time. I have bought such an expensive car worth rs.13 lacs from vw and yet the faulty parts wont be covered under warranty is not acceptable. If the parts are sensitive then why i was fooled in the first place to buy this car at such a high rate.
This is very poor customer service from volkswagen and i am very disappointed to have bought a faulty vehicle with sensitive parts and yet not being covered under warranty.
I demand your immediate attention in resolving the issue as there is no support from the downtown mumbai service center located in sewree.
