Volkswagen India — complaint regarding poor service quality and attempt to rip off the customer | |||
Country: india City: bangalore, karnataka Dealer: volkswagen palace cross bangalore motors rajajinagar, bangalore Vehicle model: volkswagen phaeton The previous service i had problems with the cruise control module the dealer advised me to disable the cruise control altogether which i agreed to but with that the check engine light which should be lit when the ignition is turned on is not lit. The dealer has disabled the engine control module. I had not been informed of any sort regarding the same. I was unaware of the same until now. This raises questions on the ethical practices that is followed by the dealer. I have a great amount of trust on the brand and the products i have been the customer of the brand since its inception here in india and own two cars but the issues like the after sales service really lets me down. I have bought the car to the dealer for rectification. The service technician says the problems are with the cylinder misfires and the engine seems rough and jerky. Who is responsible to the damage caused to the engine due to negligence or incapacity. Please address the issue as soon as possible. Was this information helpful? | |||
