[Resolved] Volkswagen India — Huge Problems in my car right from the beginning. | |||
Respected Sir/Madam, I purchased Volkswagen Vento 1.6 CR (MT)-Trendline in August, 2012 from Chandigarh. The Regn No. of my car is CH01AX2506 and VIN is WVWF1260XCT055066. I purchased this car reposing full faith in your brand as your's is a very well reputed German Brand. But I am very surprised and awestruck that the engine of the car is having huge problems right from the beginning and the engine has broken down many times. The more surprising is the fact that the service centre of your company is not able to diagnose the exact cause of the problem. Even, as now my car is not in a working condition and standing at my home for about three weeks. Although, the service history of my car is available with your company and can be perused still I would like to bring in to your notice the various problems suffered by me with my car. Right from the beginning I feel jerks from engine in the morning, when I drive at a constant speed between 50 to 60 kms/hr at an rpm of 1000 to 1100 and problem in gear shifting and engine noise during acceleration. That I drove my car for a few thousand kilometers when I started noticing the jerking in the engine. I contacted the service centre at Chandigarh over the phone and I was told that it is normal and because it is a German car so it will take sometime for you to adapt to the engine. But when the problem did not go away and the jerks started to feel little more worrying and the engine also started misfiring I took my car to the service centre on[protected] where I reported this matter and I was delivered my car assuring that the car is ok. But then a new problem surfaced i.e., some light started blinking on my meter cluster and even the jerking continued and again some repair work was done. To my utter surprise, the problem did not go away and continued as it is and I again brought my car to your service centre on[protected] with the same problem and after keeping my car for a few days it was returned to me with the same assurance. I again reported the same problem on[protected],[protected],[protected]. I have also reported many times, that my gear struck sometimes and the gear shifting is not smooth. On[protected] when I was going to the High Court, Chandigarh in the morning sudden in the way, the gears stopped shifting. I took my car to the Service centre by hiring a crane and I was told that the gear shift mechanism of your car is broken. It was repaired and the vehicle was handed back to me. Now again a new problem arose i.e., smell started coming from the bonnet of the car. I took my car to the service centre on[protected] for the same and I was told that some parts needs to be replaced and it is that is not covered in warranty and I paid for the same. My car was kept for many days in the service centre and delivered back. I drove my car for some time but had to take my car on[protected],[protected] and[protected] with all the above problems and also the engine smell from the cabin. It is very sad to say that inspite of one of the best brands in the world my problem remained undiagonsed. Every time I take the car to the service centre, the car is kept for many days and returned with the assurance that the problem is rectified. Sometimes, I am told that some expert will visit from some other place and will inspect my car but the problems of my car have remained unresolved. Now on[protected] my car again broke down and the gears are not shifting. The car is standing at my home. I called the service centre, Chandigarh and I was told that I have to bring my car to the service centre and avsied me to purchase road side assistance service and the car will be picked from your house and will be repaired. I bought the service by paying Rs. 4575/- but till date my car is not picked and repaired. I request your company to please change the engine of my car as since purchase the car has been giving alot of problems and I have visited numerous times to the service centre which has caused huge mental harassment to me and caused huge financial as well as loss of my time and work.
