[Resolved] Volkswagen India — unjustified holding polo car given at perumbavoor showroom after repair: ccr 97417 | |
Our vehicle polo bearing no: kl35f6383 was in your perumbavoor showroom since 30.0819 as the vehicle stopped suddenly. On 13.09.17 your representative informed us that they could not find any defect. We requested them to release the vehicle immediately with a confirmation that the reported complaint will not reoccur in the near future. They did not release the vehicle for reasons not known to us. On 23.09.17 we reported at perumbavoor showroom with a driver to collect the car. But we were informed that we have to pay rs.1500/- against fuel charges. We informed them that we are not aware of this as it is done without our approval and also we are inuring a cost of rs.1000/- day on account of arranging alternate vehicle and driver. However the showroom people refused to release the vehicle. Till date we have spent an amount of rs.28200/- due to the non release of vehicle. Now they are claiming other charges including demurage. By holding the car they are denying the beneficial use of the same by me. Was this information helpful? | |
