[Resolved] Volkswagen India — volkswagen vento tsi - manufacturing defect. | |||
Dear volkswagen team, Until a week ago, i was really a very satisfied customer of volkswagen since last 5 years. I am using vw cars since 2014 & it’s my second car (Vento tsi - sept-2018 registration). I have also played influencer role in car buying decisions for my friends & relatives. At least 9 friends of mine have purchased vw cars due to my strong recommendation. I would like to bring into your notice that last week i was about to collide with a truck because of volkswagen’s negligence to my complaint related to safety & manufacturing defect. But somehow i managed to control the car. Soon after this incidence i lost my confidence on vw safety & car quality. I had registered following complaint with vw in the month of october-2018 within one month of the car purchase. 1. Outside air is mixing and foul smell is coming inside the cabin even though i am running the car airconditioner on internal air circulation mode (Fresh air kept off) Status - unresolved 2. Rear shock absorbers making noise (Kach kach) Status - unresolved Above two complaints are not related to the safety but it must have been resolved by now. No initiative has been taken to resolve the same. Very disappointed Now the major concern which i feel is manufacturing defect & has serious concerns about the safety 3. During last rain in pune in the month of october-2018, i observed water is coming inside the cabin (Drivers side) near brake and accelerator peddle. Same i informed vw service centre and had left my car twice at the service centre to resolve the same. I was being told that they have thoroughly checked & rectifed the issue. But to my surprise during the 1st rain of this season @ pune last week i was driving the car @ 70-80 kmph speed & it was raining, suddenly one water taker was crossing the road but my foot slip down from the brake peddle due to water inside the cabin and on brake peddle. But somehow i managed to skip the mishap. After this incident i thanked god but lost confidence on vw quality & safety standards. Please take back your defective car which could have almost taken away my life due to manufacturing defect. Kindly replace the car which meets vw standard. I would request vw team to certainty do not compromise with the quality & address to the customer safety issue before it becomes too late which might cause life.
