[Resolved] Volkswagen — unfair practice by service center | |||
Sir, I bought volkswagen ameo comfortline deisel car from Tanya cars pvt ltd(near sanghi garden Tonk Road) Jaipur(India) in May 2017. on Monday 08 Jan 18 it started giving excessive white smoke when i checked found it has no coolant so i topped it up from local market but issue remains the same, further i called volkswagen roadside assistance and they picked the car and left at tanya cars service center jaipur (sitapura ind area, tonk road, jaipur) . person at center told me for general service and then did it after my persual and told me that car is OK but will give smoke for initial 4-5 KM when i refused to took up my car as car is new one and smoke issue should be resolved further they said it has injector nozzle defective and reason they gave is because of deisel quality and silly excuses and said its not manufacturing defect( as car is under warranty for 2 years) and they dont have any reply for coolant reduction(1.5 Ltr) and they denied it for free replacement. as everyone takes deisel from fuel pump and if its because of deisel than problem should occured a long time ago but as it started all of sudden which is because of material defect but they dont want to admit it and giving silly excuses which is not at all related to injector nozzle issue, and their behaviour was so rude as i made a mistake by buying a car. and they started pressurizing me for paid replacement of parts, whereas it should be replaced free of cost as car is under warranty and part used is defective. i tried contacting volkswagen customer care(India) but they also not taking care about it. Car is still with service center and its been one and half months and i am suffering form mental agony because of this. so i request you to instruct then to replace defective parts of my car as car is under warranty. reg no of car- RJ23CC0540 chassis no- MEXB17600HT121294 engine no- CWX158188 reg on name of KULDEEP cont- [protected] Was this information helpful? | |||
Feb 22, 2018 Complaint marked as Resolved still no steps has been taken by the company, i made complain may times with vw customer care but they are not responding. when contacted service center they are saying that it will not come under warranty as its because of deisel quality. as i take diesel from fuel pump and there should not be any issue with diesel as thousands of cars taking diesel from that fuel pump. in fact they are not telling the reason for reduction in coolant which is the main issue. and forcing me for paid replacement of parts(8 months old car) for car which is under warranty for 2 years.
